I rented this dress for a 50th Birthday party and it was absolutely perfect! It was a rather conservative event and living in New England, I needed something that would keep me warm. The dress is very flattering and does not require any SPANX type accessories or slip as there is a built-in slip as well as some additional material that allows for the skirt to flare a bit. This dress fits very true to size with the exception of the arms...which I found a little bit snug (but I do have larger arms). So the blessing and the curse with this dress is that there are pocked on each side. This was wonderful for carrying my phone (which was good as the nanny called) but in my opinion, the pockets added a bit of unnecessary bulk on each side. Also, my husband thought my dress wasn't zipped on the side when he saw underlay. Overall, though, this dress is beautiful and highly recommended. I felt lovely in it!

I cannot even begin to tell you how much I LOVE this dress! It was so flattering--especially for this 43 year old mom and the colors were so intense and rich....much more so than appeared online. I wore this for a political event at the Four Seasons...a dinner for the Speaker of the House. It was important to look classy and elegant and this dress allowed exactly that. I'm 5 '8 and feared this dress would be too short but it was perfect. I live in New England and this event was in December...so I wore SPANX tights to keep worm and keep everything where it needed to be! : ) This dress was ideal and I can't wait to rent again!

I wore this dress to my husband's political inauguration. It was elegant and conservative enough and truly perfect in every way. I was afraid the dress would be too short as I am 5 '8 but it was fine...touched the top of my knee. This dress is very flattering and has gathered fabric across the stomach for a slimming effect. I'm 42 and have two small children and absolutely needed something forgiving and comfortable....this dress was both of these. My only complaint is the side zipper got stuck on some of the lace a couple of times throughout the event.
