The dress is elegant and glamorous, without being over the top. Yes, despite the ruffles at the top, the dress isn't "too much." Rather, it was eye-catching and elegant without being obnoxious. I received many compliments and would absolutely rent it again.

This dress is even more gorgeous in person than on the website. And even more gorgeous on than on the hanger. The compliments were bountiful! I will say that the dress was a bit tight at the top (I'm a 34DD), but it did fit. And the dress was very long. I'm 5'6" and wore 4inch heels and I would still step on the dress when walking. Of course, it wasn't an issue for dancing so I didn't suffer too much :-)

This dress is stunning. I will so though that although you don't need to wear a bra, someone with a larger chest (like me) who feels more comfortable with the psychological support of a bra (like me) can get a backless, plunge bra (like me) and solve the problem. It isn't necessary, but I felt better. And I got one at Target for 24.99. I will say that the only disappointment is that the dress wasn't properly pressed. I knew it would need to be steamed because it's being shipped in a garment bag. But, it had not previously been properly pressed so that the pleats were not done correctly. But that's a detail only I noticed. Can't wait to rent the runway again!
