I got the 8 based on other reviews about the length and it worked, but if I rent it again I'd probably go for the 6. It was loose in the chest, but I was never concerned about the length and I wore it to a family party.

It runs large, I usually wear a 6 and the 4 fit fine. It is a bit revealing but designed well enough to keep everything in place ;)
