The bodice is well constructed with multiple boning points. The waist unfortunately isn't nipped in enough for my shape and size (but that's a constant struggle for me anyway with woven dresses as opposed to knit). Love the slit too.

I rented this for a NYC long weekend vacay  and would say it's a good coat for 10°- 40° weather. Absolutely love it and don't want to return it. I might end up buying it but I also live in LA so it would only get worn at night. 😂 it fits well and has shaping at the waist. 

You look absolutely gorgeous in this dress. I own it and after reading many reviews indicating that you should do your hair and makeup first in order to not mess everything up, I wanted to add a comment. You&#39;re supposed to step INTO the dress, not pull it over your head. Because of the stretchy material, it is very easy to do. All of the Chiara Boni dresses are supposed to be put on this way and I&#39;m surprised RTR doesn&#39;t indicate that here. I hope that this helps anyone who might rent or purchase this beautiful dress in the future. Thank you! 

Loved this dress. The color is saturated, it's a heavy weight expensive quality fabric but if you have any lumps or bumps you don't want people to see put on Spanx or tights. The length was perfect for me, I could see it being too long for women under 5'7" and too short with heels for women over 5'11" though. Wish it had a side slit so it could be sexier. It doesn't have a zipper so be prepared to use a scarf over your head to slide it on without messing up your make-up or hair.
