The dress fit TTS and was very comfortable. It's too low cut for a regular bra so I had to wear a strapless. It wasn't super flattering for my body shape so I might not have worn it on a date, but perfect for work holiday event.

I sized up a bit (usually an 8-10 and rented a L) at the advice of other reviewers and found it unnecessary. It was a bit too loose and probably as a result of the sizing up the LR was too long even in high heels (and I'm 5'7"). I spent the evening holding my skirt up so I didn't trip. M probably would have been better, but I didn't consider it after reading so many people say that they ran snug. There was also some minor wear and tear on back of the neck which made me self-conscious that the dress was going to tear; hopefully they will mend it before renting it back out. That said, it was a perfect mix of style and class for a night at the Met and photographed well. Would consider renting again.

I had the challenge of choosing a diverse dress to wear for a birthday date both to a very swanky NYC french restaurant and later a decidedly more casual live music show. This dress fit the bill, drawing compliments at both venues. Pros: super easy to put on (no zipper), can wear with regular bra, easy to dance in Cons: even with the nude underlay, this dress requires confidence to pull off. I also noticed it was threadbare in a few places which spoils the nude illusion if you look too closely Fit: I'm usually an 8-10 so I ordered the L with M as backup size. If I had been a 12, the L would not have fit so the M as backup was useless. The L fit really well and some control top pantyhose smoothed out my belly. Tip: ordered the Nicole Miller earrings suggested by RTR and they looked amazing with the dress.
