The color is nice, but the fabric is also rather thin - so just take care when choosing under garments. The dress I received was too large, so it looked more like a sack then an elegant dress with a draped effect. I was disappointed I couldn't wear it, but because it was so large I'm not really certain what it would look like anyways. When choosing the extra size, I'd choose one or two sizes down from your normal size.

This dress is a gorgeous purple color, very similar to what's shown here. I've never worn another bandage dress, but I imagine this dress was similr to others in that it it sucks you in in flattering way. The back of this dress does not allow you to wear a strapped bras, so be prepared to wear a strapless bra. I don't know how to describe the fit because I wore the S as it fit more comfortably than the M, which was much tighter than the S.

I got this dress as a backup for a cocktail party fundraiser for the nonprofit I work for. It fit well and was cute, but felt more appropriate for a wedding than for a professional function - primarily because of the length and how light the fabric was. I would definitely rent this again for a wedding though!

The boning in the dress I rented was very uncomfortable, and was visible through the material. The bones actually stuck out at the bottom so it poked my husband when I hugged him. I also found it difficult to get the dress's gathered layers to lay correctly. I'm VERY happy I rented a backup because I would not have wanted to wear this dress for out in public for an evening.

I wore this dress for a gala fundraiser for the nonprofit I work for. It was sexy without being too flashy or inappropriate for work, and the fabric and color were also a good match for the event. The dress fit well through the bust and hips, though it was way too big through the shoulders; the straps fell off repeatedly throughout the evening, but a size smaller would've been WAY too tight through the bust. I definitely recommend ordering lots of fashion tape and being prepared to refresh it through the evening (or just wear a pashmina all night).
