Elegant & forgiving
Fabric is stretchy and while body skimming, somehow hides a little extra in the tummy. Very flattering and elegant dress. I normally wear a size 4, sometimes a 6, and I wore the 2. The 4 was a little big and the 2 was definitely more flattering to my figure. It was a little bit long for me in 3" heels. Currently at 119 lbs, 5' 5".

Must see it to believe it
This dress is so pretty in person. The color really stands out, and has a richness to it that just does not come across in these photos. I thought I wouldn't like this dress, but my stylist steered me to it, and she was so right! The style is very flattering too. I didn't have to worry about eating too much or wear spanx, because this dress made my silhouette look long and lean, while draping perfectly over my curves. The waist doesn't come in too much, and runs very true to size. At 36", 27", 36", and 5'5", and not the most athletic shape, this was a great choice for me. I was able to wear the size 2 in this one, although I run between a size 2 and 4.

Classy hotness
This dress was beautiful. Classy navy color and gorgeous heavy fabric. In true Herve style, this dress is awesome because it really sucks you in! The size of this dress is bigger than other Herve dresses I've tried, which generally run a size small, so I'd say this runs pretty true-to-size to a little large, compared to standard US sizes. However, the dress did not look stretched out, except for a tiny bit in the under arm area (so tiny, no one would notice). The small in this dress I would say is comparable to a Banana Republic size 4/6. I'm between a size 2 & 4 right now, so the small was good and worked nicely, but I think I could have done the xs. Also, the regular length of this gown was too long for me at 5' 4.5". My heels were 3.75", so I just needed a couple more inches to make this length work. I would definitely rent this again, but in xs petite. Oh, and there was enough room for spanx, which I definitely would do to get a nice smooth figure with this dress.

Versatile dress
I originally rented this dress for a baby shower, and ended up wearing it to a company dinner. It was great for both! I used a necklace to dress it up for dinner, otherwise it would have been too casual and plain. I'm 5' 5" and it came down to a few inches above my knee, so it was a nicely conservative dress. The arm holes were a little big, but not too bad. It's very stretchy and soft.

Holds giant phones but not giant wallets
The bag was length of the bag was slightly shorter than I expected and I could not fit my large wallet inside, but it was perfect for keeping the essentials. Fit my iPhone 6 Plus and sunglasses case, and had a nice pocket inside where I kept my cash and credit cards. It could have easily fit a few more small items like makeup. The chain was much shinier than I expected as well, like a nice piece of gold jewelry. The leather was nice and soft, and well cleaned and conditioned, so that it had a slight sheen. It was a nice was to dress up a casual weekend and a perfect on-the-go bag, except that the chain did catch on my long hair a couple times. So watch out for that!

Didn't fit
I rented sizes M and L in this dress, and did not wear either. I was between a sizes 6 and 8 (maybe closer to a size 8) when I rented it, but the L was way too big, and the M did not fit right on my hips. I am kind of an apple, so dresses that come in at the hips like this one often don't fit me right. The arms on the M were a good fit, but I think I would need to be taller and smaller in the tummy area to properly fit this dress.

I rented this dress for my graduation, but I didn't wear it. I am apple-y, and was in between a size 6 and a 8 when I rented it. This dress was not good for my figure. My waist was not defined, and instead of a held-in look, it was more like a stuffed-in look, with some ruffles. I wouldn't try this one again.

Girly hot party dress
I found this dress to be really true to size. It was slightly tight around the rib cage, which made it easy to go bra-less and held everything together perfectly. I got the size 8 as a backup after reading some other reviews that the dress ran small, but I found the tightness of the dress was just right, and the arms holes perfectly placed in the size 6. It was not the most comfortable dress, and was not a good dress for sizing up because of the construction of the arm holes. It was also much shorter than I expected, and I am not that tall (5'5"), but when paired with high heels, gave the illusion of ridiculously sexy long legs. Because of the length, I didn't wear it to the engagement party I rented it for (wouldn't have been appropriate), so I wore it the next day to my friend's birthday party instead.

Sweet perfection!
This is a great dress for an hourglass figure, it fits nicely around the waist and bust. The fabric is nice and light, and the dress was very comfortable. It's not a stretchy fabric, but the fit is forgiving, so I was able to wear a size 4 instead of a 6. I wore it for a rehearsal dinner where I knew some people would not be dressing up, so I dressed it down with a denim jacket. It was so cute and perfect, I would definitely rent it again!

Super fun dress for a bachelorette party!
I LOVED this dress!!! It was so fun to dance in. Since I'm only about 5'5", the hem fell just about 4" above my knee, kind of longer than I was expecting even when wearing the size 4 instead of my usual 6. But it was looked fabulous and felt great. The fabric is very stretchy and soft. This is one to rent again!

Great color
I didn't end up wearing this one. It wasn't the right fit for me. I am not very hippy, but I do carry a little extra weight in my midsection, and it made the waist of this dress look a little odd. Probably because it was a little too tight. The dress also ran a tad snug in the chest area because of the dress's liner, and the style of the dress made my girls look huge! It wasn't the look I was going for.

Very comfy sheath dress
I wore this dress for a wine tasting bachelorette party in Napa. The dress was beautiful and very comfortable, but I don't think it was the best for my body type. I'm not athletic, and the slight cap sleeve was not flattering to my arms. The arm holes were also too big for me in the size 6 and it looked a little odd. Also the waist was a little loose and undefined, but the dress fit nicely around my chest and hips. The length went to 3/4 down my thigh, so I could have gone a bit shorter. It seemed true to size, but I wish I had ordered the 4 for my backup in this one to see if a tighter fit would have looked nicer.
