Beautiful structure, an unforgiving size: choose carefully!
This dress is made from a thicker, but lightweight material that’s quite comfortable. It attaches with a button on the inside, and there is no give or stretch to the material. I also ordered this in a 12 (in the tan color) and that fits much better.

So flattering on top, but that slit is a bit much
Note: there's a hidden zipper on the side of the dress, but it's tough to get it to move. The top of this dress was so flattering, but the slit goes so high that wearing any shapewear underneath is impossible. I looked good from behind a podium, but I was all leg when I sat down.

I don't usually wear sweater dresses, but this didn't make me look lumpy like so many do. The neck area was surprisingly itchy considering the fabric was mostly soft.

Should have sized up
These had plenty of room in the hips but were tight at the waist. As a result, they bulged at the stomach, which was only flattering when I was standing completely tall. It wasn't comfortable to sit in them.

I wore this for a conference in an air-conditioned building. It’s got a great lining, I wouldn’t wear it in hot weather. Lots of people complimented it through the day! The front pockets were handy for keeping my phone on me.
