Rented this for my brother's wedding when he requested I wear something "carefree and breezy." Paired with the salmon and teal Oscar de la Renta Prismatic Etoile earrings, a teal White House Black Market belt, and teal Badgley Mischka peep toes...and got many compliments on how comfortable and elegant I looked. The color isn't a butter yellow--it's much warmer and sunnier. I normally wear a 4, but I was a 2 in this style, and still was glad I had the belt to take it in at the natural waist. Also: POCKETS! It's adorable. Wore a bra with clear straps, did not need any constrictive foundation wear! Just do it; you'll be glad you did.

Rented these to go with the RTR yellow lace Monique Lhullier Ever After dress for my brother's wedding. These are not dainty little accessories, so I didn't wear other jewelry. They are clip-on, so if your ears are pierced you will want to be careful with positioning on the ear or the weight will hurt. Once I had them a little higher on the earlobe, I was able to wear them for six hours! They do look gaudy in the box, but once on, they did amp up my look. I would rent these again for a special occasion, but they are difficult to match due to the color and size. That said, just what I needed for my dress.

Rented these for a Downton Abbey style tea party bridal shower, and wore them with the silver Cara bracelet and Gatsby dress. The earrings are hollow in the back, but since I was wearing my hair down, that made no difference to me. As it was they did tend to feel heavy (not uncomfortable, but I was aware of them) after five hours or so. I'd rent these again since they are a nice compliment piece--even taking into consideration the large size I didn't feel these earrings were really a statement on their own.

Elasticized panels make this bracelet very adjustable--when it slid down my wrist it did tend to bite a bit, but the sparkle was so clean even in mirrors across the room that I kept finding myself staring. Loved this bracelet so much that I wore it to work the day after receiving, to the designated bridal shower the day after, and when I had to return it, went hunting for it on ebay and Nordstrom to see if I could purchase it. This was perfect for the Downton Abbey style tea party bridal shower, and I received compliments on it at work too when I paired it with a sheath. Rent rent rent.

Mt first rental with Rent the Runway. The dress is stunning--soft, silken fabric, muted sparkles under chiffon-y overlays. The bridal shower I attended was a tea party, and I paired this with a black shrug, black stilettos, the silver Cara bracelet, Alexis Bittar pave earrings, and waved my hair. Adorable. That being said, I wear a 4 normally and the 6 barely fit. This dress forgives hips, but prefers if you don't own them. A new dress would not have gotten to me in time, so I did wear a spanx style slip, and was able to squeak by with it as long as I didn't drive with the skirt around my hips.... I loved the dress that much. The skirt was true to the mid-thigh description, and the black belt is not removable. Next time, I would rent the 8 and the 10.
