I assumed this would give very little wiggle room, but I found the fabric to be really comfy. I could probably have sized down, actually. I would still recommend choosing your typical dress size to be safe. The lace is beautiful. I brought two statement necklaces, but I chose to pair this with my own bold Kendra Scott earrings plus the Kate Spade Jardin Clarise Cameron Bag available on RTR. I would warn that the fabric is thick but not enough for dark under garments. My fiancée loved the dress, and I definitely think it will be worth another rental! Can't wait to try more from this designer.

I saw plenty of photos of girls who rocked this dress. I, however, looked crazy. Not even a smaller size would have fixed the overall awfulness. The fabric was fine and I think the sleeves were fun. I would probably tell curvy/athletic girls to scroll past this one. It is not our friend.

I have hardly ever felt so delicate and feminine as I did wearing this amazing dress. I am curvy for sure, and I usually wear a 12 in more fitted dresses. I got the 10 because of the flow to the skirt. That fit like a dream. Through the bust//torso//waist it was definitely fitted, but it wasn't so tight I'd require a larger size. I highly recommend you order by your waist//hip size. In summary, I cannot imagine life without this dress. I will continue to subscribe to Unlimited just so I will never be without this!

This dress is everything a lady looks for in a work-appropriate cocktail dress. At 4'11'' the hem fell right at/above my knee cap. The lace detail was delicate and feminine. The pleated skirt added a full swing that made me feel very elegant and slightly dramatic. The sleeves were a bit snug right at the seam, and the waist was a bit loose but not at all unflattering. I definitely could not have sized down because of the sleeve situation. I paired this with the Kate Spade Party Pearls Necklace and my favorite White House Black Market patent leather heels for a polished look. This is a MUST RENT piece!

Rented this for a wedding and returned it for a 4. Honestly could have gone down to a 2. That is insane because the other dress style I'd ordered was an 8!!! Do not have fear that you are going to be out of luck: SIZE DOWN for your first choice and SIZE DOWN again for the backup, no joke. There is nothing worse than a beautiful dress that hangs off you and makes you look frumpy.

This dress was AMAZING. I have never loved my boobs so much. Unfortunately, it was super inappropriate lol I have a short torso, so to make the strap length work I had to pull it down a little more. This really let the girls out. I am a D cup, but there was no big gap; the dress still laid perfectly on my chest. I would love to rent this for my bach party later in the year instead of traditional white!

The 10 was huge, I ordered that out of desperation, but I enjoyed having the extra wiggle room. 8 would have probably been more appropriate. I felt like the sleeves were snug at the top around my bicep and it wasn't completely flattering at first. Took this photo after a few glasses of champagne. It was appropriate and sexy all at once and I felt like a million bucks. I will 100% be renting this in the future, and I highly recommend it if you want to stand out in a crowd.

I chose the other gown I rented for the event I attended, but that was simply because the other was a bit more modest. I will actively look for other black tie events I could wear this gown to; it was amazing! The fabric is heavy and luxurious and the peplum conceals any problem areas. The neckline is wonderful and with fashion tape I'm sure I could've secured it to an appropriate place. Absolutely will rent again!

Everything about the gown was excellent, but the length, which I found challenging. I am very short and attempted to apply a temporary hem. The hem was great unless I got my feet caught in it. Like the other reviewers, I will mention the back is not low-cut as the image suggests. For me, this was welcomed. It allowed for exposed skin but was ladylike for a networking opportunity. I would highly recommend this gown. I hated to take it off!
