I wore this to an intimate late summer bridal shower at a yacht club. The material of the dress was pretty flattering as it was structured enough to smooth trouble areas and have an “elevated yet casual” feel which I loved and was perfect for the event. The pattern was colorful and fun and then little frill at the bottom was made it just unique enough without being too bold. My only gripe was that my boobs looked extra huge. They are DDs so probably would have looked better with a more drapey/flowy fabric.

The material is very light so it's perfect for the summer! The a-symmetrical neckline, sleeves, and waistline material gathering really flatter imperfect bodies and doesn't make you feel like you have to suck in all night. I like to always wear a bra but it was easy to do a one shoulder bra (other strap tucked away) and feel secure. Loved the look of white, dangly earrings + straw clutch. Nude pumps would've looked better. Partner wore dark suit and light blue shirt+ navy tie which was perfect.

This dress was true to size and very very comfortable. It showed a tiny bit of cleavage but not too much for a professional event. You definitely show some leg when walking because of the slit but it wasn't too high. The color was beautiful for fall/winter and you can easily wear statement pieces of jewelry because overall this dress doesn't have a lot of "wow"-ing detail. I'm 5'6" and wore the R but, with heels, might have been okay with the L (see pic).

There's so much detail and beauty to this dress that I received compliments all night. When I rent, I like to feel like I'm wearing a really unique and designer piece and this dress accomplished that. It was perfect for a formal wedding but because it was short, it was so fun and flirty. I also loved that it really didn't make my bust look too big or overpowering (as is often an issue for me). I did feel that it ran small though, I don't normally wear an XL in anything.
