I didn’t end up wearing this dress but wanted to review it because it was beautiful and there were some noteworthy things about the fit… I usually wear a 6 but ordered the 4 hoping it would work (only size left). The whole thing fit beautifully except that because I have larger hips, the slit went up too high for my liking (especially for a wedding where I’d meet my boyfriends family). I’m curious if I got my normal size 6 if it would have solved this and/or if the top would have been too large… if my hips were slimmer, the fabric would have overlapped more, making the slit a bit lower. All this being said, the dress is gorgeous and draped in an incredibly flattering way. If you are able to order in your size as well as a backup, I do recommend!!

This was my last minute back-up choice after one of my dress choices was returned late by another customer and was unavailable to me. I LOVED it. I wish it were mine to keep! The top fit perfectly and never felt like it was falling down because it has a built-in corset! It was beautifully made. Perfect for an early fall outdoor wedding. The fabric isn’t light - has structure, but wasn’t too hot. Length is fine for a shorty and got lots of compliments!! I felt amazing in this dress.

I wore the dress to an outdoor summer wedding located at a nature center. I wanted something like a summer dress, but EXTRA. I chose the dress because I wanted "off the shoulder" but needed to be able to move my arms. This dress gives you that style, but is also great for dancing as it is easy to move around in. I usually have to go up in size for fitted dresses since my bottom is bigger than my top (definite pear shape) and for this dress it worked out; the top fit great although it was definitely tight around my bum. Was a little worried it was too tight, but I had no problems and instead just got lots of comments (not bad ones) and compliments about how my butt was lookin'. If you got a butt and do NOT want people noticing it, choose a different dress. If you want to show off your bubble butt... go for it. And if you have no butt, this dress might give you one. Loved the skirt silhouette. Such a fun dress to wear!!
