Some of the reviews mentioned it ran small so I sized up to a large. The large is a bit too loose everywhere. The fabric feels uncomfortable and stiff, so if you have sensory issues it’s not for you.

Oddly thick material
The style looks like it should be a summery / springy weight, but it’s an odd combination of sweatshirt material and heavy cotton eyelet. It does run small - I’m usually a medium and the large fits snug.

Obscene for bigger chests
I loved this but can’t envision where it would be acceptable to where given how revealing it is. I wear a 6 in tops and sometimes 8 in dresses. The 8 fit tight in the ribcage because there’s no give, but perfect everywhere else. I can also see it being too roomy in the bust if you have a smaller chest. I didn’t wear it but the length would have been fine with a low heel.

Runs very small
I go between a 6-8 in dresses, and the 8 in this one was very tight on me. The dress has zero stretch, and if you have a larger chest, then size up to avoid the gaping-button problem. That said, it's beautiful - I am 5ft5 and it comes down 3" above my ankles. The material is lightweight and opaque, and the embroidered hole pattern is not particularly revealing.

Runs super small in the ribcage
I'm usually between a 6 and 8, depending on how much give there is in the ribcage area. I got the dress in an 8 and while it did zip up, it felt uncomfortably tight. Also, the color is on the darker, navy side - I thought it would be closer to a bright cobalt blue. All that said, it's a cute dress, I'm 5ft5 and it hit me right above the knees.

Not for me
This dress is well-made, except that the front flaps come apart completely so everything up to your belly button shows. I wear between a 6 and 8 in dresses, and the 6 in this dress looked nice but fit too snugly in the chest area. It hit me about three inches above my knees, and I am 5ft5. I wanted to like this dress, and this is a little un-PC, but I am East Asian and this dress made me look like a Mongolian princess in a tv show. As I don't enjoy rude comments about looking "ethnic", I am sending it back.

Versatile
This top is textured but lightweight. It fits true to size, and has enough stretch to accommodate larger busts (to a certain extent, I presume). It is light grey and white, so the color on the screen is pretty accurate. I can see it working well for the office, date night, or a night out, depending on what you pair it with. I wish I could have worn it, but it came with a large coffee stain so I had to send it back.

Voluminous
The color is neon orange, but more in a pretty highlighter way than in a traffic sign way. My description isn't great but the color really is pretty. The fit is accurate if you consider that the only part of the dress that is fitted is the very top. There is pin-tucking under the bust, and since the dress has a lot of material, a balloon shape forms around your body. My rear-end looked especially large in an unflattering way, and I don't have a large butt. The length is alright, I am 5ft5 and this dress fell to and inch above my knees. The fabric is substantial, opaque, and lightweight. Overall, very well-made but the fact that I am slightly busty meant that the dress didn't flatter my shape. It might look great on less chesty people, or pregnant women!

Very purple
I thought this dress was going to be hot pink, but it is quite purple (the name says "orchid" so I should have known). I didn't wear it because of the color, but also because I was swimming in the medium, my usual size. As you can see in the photo, it was quite unflattering. Also, considering it's a loose shift dress, I think it should be shorter - I am 5ft5 and the dress fell to my knees. Other than that, the color is vibrant and the back ruffle is very pretty. The fabric is very substantial and opaque but still flowy and lightweight. The v-neck in the back falls pretty low, so you might not be able to wear a regular bra with it.

So pretty!
I loved this top and wish I could keep it! The fabric is substantial yet lightweight, and not sheer. It wrinkled a bit but the style made it mostly unnoticeable. It does runs a tiny bit large - I usually wear an 8 in tops because of my broader shoulders and larger bust, but this top had a decent amount of room even in the size 6 (that said, it didn't look baggy). It is a true white, as opposed to ivory. The cutouts are pretty low down the chest, but I wore a nude camisole and it looked completely fine. The slits on the side are definitely high up, and the bottom part is a slightly billowy peplum style. I wore it for a date with high-waist shorts, and also to a networking function with mid-rise skinny pants.

Easy to wear
This is a pretty and well-made top - very lightweight and breezy but not overly billowy. It's also completely opaque, so no worries about wearing a nude-for-you bra. I wore it halfway unbuttoned, but I didn't like that the "flaps" did not lie flat when open. It still looked pretty nice for class and brunch, with jeans or shorts. It is a true ivory color, so if ivory is not your shade then I would pass on this.

Almost perfect
I wore this for an academic conference. The dress was comfortable and looked put-together throughout the 10+ hours. I range from a 6 - 10 in dress sizes, and the 10 for this dress was great for my relatively busty and broad-shouldered frame. I have very narrow hips, but this dress made me look like I had an hourglass shape - this could have the opposite effect on someone with wider hips. The fabric and lining and substantial yet lightweight. I would buy it, except for the fact that the back zipper is very difficult to zip up, and I am afraid that it would break after a few wears. Overall, amazing dress to rent!

Cute but also sophisticated, could work for a daytime wedding, work, or a graduation. The fabric is a little thicker so I'm not sure how it will be when it gets warmer. It fits true to size, but if you are over a D cup or have a broader back, you might want to size up. I'm 5ft5 and it reached just below my knees, which is fine for me but perhaps not for others. Other reviewers mentioned the lack of arm mobility, and I echo that thought. Overall, this dress is great and is probably flattering for many body types.

Wish it worked
This dress is so cute, and the shape of the back somehow made my broad back and shoulders seem less so. The back is hard to close on your own. Although this dress runs true to size (maybe not so if you have a thicker middle), it was too long for my torso (which I guess is shorter than average?) so the fabric would not sit against my skin. The neoprene fabric is very forgiving, and although it's a thicker fabric, it would probably be okay in the heat given the open back and short length.

Pretty and easy to wear
This dress is well made, and I can see it flattering most body types except for maybe pear shapes. It fit very true to size, and since it has an elastic waistband a racerback, bigger shoulders or bigger waists would probably be comfortable in it too. Overall, nice to wear on vacation in Hawaii.
