Another too-long Free People dress for my 5'3" self. :( Even with 4-5" heels on, there was extra fabric in length and it felt pretty heavy, too. It's a gorgeous dress for taller girls who can rock the length and have it flowing instead of tripping over it.

As with most Free People dresses on my 5'3" frame, this was too long. Not in terms of where the hem sits—I love tea-length dresses for that reason—but on the bodice. The arm holes sat a little too low under the armpit, so there was a lot of bra showing, or side-boob when I tried to go without one. The color is beautiful though! A rusty tone, and the high neck was great. Again, just wish it was cut for smaller bodies!

I wore this dress to brunch with the girls and received so many compliments on it. I loved the adjustable straps, but even with them pulled as tight as they could be, at my height, I still tripped over the skirt. I did wear them with wedges, which helped, but I wish Joie offered a petite version. If I owned the dress, I'd hem it and it'd be no problem! But overall, the color was gorgeous, and I felt like a Disney princess when I walked in this dress. Thanks, RTR!
