I rented this dress for a fun weekend outfit, and while the color and cut were awesome, this dress runs quite small. I'm typically a 0 in most brands (excluding some European brands), but this dress wasn't just tight, I couldn't even fully zip up the zipper. If your waist is proportional to your other measurements, you should probably size up. The 2 was unavailable as a backup when I ordered, but I will certainly give this a go in the future, it's a really cute, fun dress!

Crisp white dress with an equally crisp fit. I liked the zipper detail in the front that added a new twist to an otherwise simple, classic dress. Very flattering fit, however though it's an a-line, it's fitted in the core and while there's stretch and give, this may not be the most flattering for those with broad waists (good undergarments/spanx could help...) Overall, a great dress, however it did have an odd smell that I assume originated from the RTR cleaning/prep process.

This is one of my all-time favorite Shoshanna dresses! The color is a really stunning red that has an even greater impact in person, but photographs lovely as well. The dress is comfortable and has pockets, but it incredibly flattering- it nips the waist in the perfect spot to give an hourglass shape, and has a nice neckline without being too low-cut. Wish they made this in multiple colors!

I rented these to wear to a wedding to complement my coral dress. I love Kendra Scott earrings, and you typically can't go wrong with these. While the color was beautiful, the center stone at the top of the earring made these look far cheaper than they were and I ultimately ended up wearing some of my own earrings instead of these.

I have been eyeing this dress forever and was waiting for the perfect event to rent. I had a summer party and had everything styled before it even arrived, down to the clutch, shoes, cuff and earrings. When it arrived, it was as gorgeous as you'd expect a Lela Rose frock to be, and I was so excited! However, I was really disappointed with the fit. I'm typically a 0-2 in general and a 0 in Lela Rose. While I'm slender, I have some curves and am not straight up and down. This dress is probably best on tall girls with a sizeable chest, but otherwise slender (or proportionally smaller in the hips and bum). For this dress in particular, I think it's pretty important to fill out the top in order to have this lay nicely as it does on the model. Based on the dress and my size, this was fine, but the dress added a lot of unflattering bulk to my silhouette. In particular, the arm holes are tiny! It forced me to hold my arms in an unnatural way, and it was incredibly unflattering. Also, the cut of the waist was too large on me. Had it been more tailored, it would've defined my waist nicely and given me a slimmer appearance, but since it didn't fit appropriately, I looked thick throughout my midsection, and a belt did nothing to help (though I wouldn't style it as such in any case). The skirt was oddly tailored as well. Not a true a-line, it was more of a tulip shape through the hips before flowing more loosely down past my knees. This definitely added extra volume around my hips and behind, and my sister even said that the dress made me look about 20 lbs heavier- not good! Very disappointing- I tried to make it work, but in spite of how gorgeous a dress it was, if it doesn't flatter, it's not worth it! I ended up returning...

Very flattering cut. Runs true to size, bigger busts should consider sizing up. I'm a 32C and wore the 0, but there was very little difference for me between the 0 and 2. Material is very thick, not very breathable in the summer/outside in hot weather, but a lovely, classic dress in a timeless shape, and length on me was right to the knee for a demure balance to the low cut neckline. Highly recommend for any event!

Fab wrap! I wore over a gown to a black tie wedding on a chilly November day. EXTREMELY warm (had to remove in the church as my temp skyrocketed!) Very functional and beautiful. As some have noted, it does shed a bit, but nothing too cumbersome. I styled it by laying one side over the other and fastening with a small jeweled broach, was a bit sleeker than fastening it in the front with the hook and eye closure.

As many have noted, this dress runs quite long. I'm about 5'4" and with 3.5 inch heels was gracing the floor. Very beautiful and flattering though. Dress is more or a red with orange undertones, not a rich red with blue undertones. I ordered both the 2 and the 0 and went with the 0, though I could have comfortably worn either. Zipper is quite tough to get up, but dress stays in place without issue. Great dress and experience- would recommend to anyone!
