This dress was gorgeous, but a lot less formal than it looks in the pictures so I didn't end up wearing it. It was short, even on me (I'm 5"0) so I wouldn't have been able to wear heels with it, and that's a no-go for the gala event I needed it for. It was also slightly tight in the bust area, so I probably needed to order a size up, (it was out of stock in the *) or would have had to go bra-less, which is awful when you're dancing, glad I had a back-up! I would totally recommend this for someone with a smaller chest, and it's good for those who want to wear short heels or flats.

This dress looked AMAZING, especially with hair in a swept-to-the-side up-do (down was a little overwhelming). Just be forewarned that it comes out almost black, not navy in most pictures. The length was perfect for a short person wearing tall-ish heels, and it covered my "issue" areas by skimming, not hugging, which made it flattering. The only caution I'd have

This looked AWFUL on me which I should have known by the reviews, but I just had to give it a try as it was so different from the other 3 I rented. This would look best on someone who is VERY tall and skinny, it didn't flatter a short frame with large chest.

This dress has a VERY big slit on the side in the front -- if you're larger chested or aren't totally confident about your legs, this isn't the best choice. I didn't end up wearing it.
