I thought it was great! The fit was amazing & I got a ton of compliments! But the lurex was BRIGHT!
I really liked the dress but for my age and the event I felt it was a little more appropriate for a high school dance than a wedding. The reason was because the silver lurex was so much brighter than the online pictures show. not to mention that the lurex pulled at the chiffon in the shipping so the skirts were slightly damaged in the 2 sizes they sent. The wedding was at night but we arrived for the 5:00 ceremony at 4:45 and stood outside in a courtyard waiting to go into the venue and the silver lurex sparkling in the sun made me feel a little cheesy. I like to use these reviews when I'm renting my own dresses so I like to point out the downsides of a dress- but I still really liked the style and the fit and the off the shoulder detail. It was really great- but if you are going to be in the sun at all then you should probably rethink this one.

looked like Barbie!
This dress was so cute! but WARNING! it is soooooo neon pink. waaaay brighter than the pictures online and even mine show. think 80's that orangey pink. I opened the box on my way to get my nails done and decided it was too crazy to match the brightness and went with a light color that matched the lighter tone (didn't bother changing my toes). The weather has been all over the place for May in new york and the wedding was in Jersey so with everyone in dark colors, I felt a little like Barbie at a funeral...... but if this was a sunny summer wedding this is THE DRESS! It fit pretty true to size.... i could have worn the zero but with the lower scoop back the ribcage was a little too tight for me on the 0 so i wore the 2. loved the pockets. I got so many compliments- i just felt a little bright for the venue- but I have 2 more weddings this summer and if it weren't a lot of the same people I would be renting this over and over. 5 star dress- just want to play devils advocate in these reviews because i know i will stand out in all the pictures since i was so bright-and I feel a little weird about that. so if you know your crowd or venue may be all dark- decide if you want to draw all the attention to you like a traffic cone because this dress is BRIGHT!

this was gorgeous.
Gorgeous. absolutely gorgeous! It fit perfectly in the waist for me as I am usually a size zero..... but it felt like the top was draped a little too large for a size 0 . It was still stunning..... but i ended up wearing my backup dress because i felt like this was too safe and boring, The picture makes it look like it has a pronounced slit. but she's walking and they pinned it back because in reality the fabric just hangs and you lose the effect. so while this dress is absolutely gorgeous and I would rent it again for a wedding or something. its just not the show stopper I imagined in the photo. As I said, LOVED it but just wanted to point out what I like to get from these reviews which are the "down sides" to a great looking dress.
