Great holiday cocktail party dress.
The fabric has a great drape and the dress is great if your legs are your best feature! No shapewear required! It does snag easily and my dress arrived with a snag already in it. I was able to smooth it out and still wear the dress to the party but it is not forgiving fabric.

Chose another dress, the velvet top looked bulky.
The dress fit fine and was comfortable but the side tie opening shows skin (or shapewear) and the velvet top looked frumpy since this size was probably a size too big for me.

Cute and work appropriate dress!
This dress fit well everywhere but the chest, size 10 with a 36D made it hard to stay closed without a minimizer bra or tank underneath.
