I wore this to a black tie gala for our local nature center, so the floral print was perfect. I've worn several RtR dresses in the last few years, but this got the most compliments by far. It was not something I would normally chose, but the print is gorgeous in person. I did need to wear it with dark tights because it was Novemebr in New England, but I don't think it detracted from the look. I loved the peek-a-boo stripes on the bottom. It was flattering and I was able to wear a normal bra although it was definitely very fitted in the bodice. But the fullness of the skirt hid any imperfections on the lower half while still being fun and flirty. I paired it with black suede heels and silver jewlery (there is a nice silver accent in the print). It was definitely worth taking a chance on!

I wore this dress to a black tie gala. I loved the style, especially the dramatic open back. I did steam it a bit to perk up the bustle in back. And you can not wear a traditional bra underneath. The fabric is thick though, so I was able to go bra-less. I had only two issues, the first being that it was definitely cut for girls with less hip than I have (especially after three children in the last 5 years). It was snug in the hips but wearable. Second, the two small snaps connecting the back of the dress kept popping open when I would sit down. This was likely a function of the tight fit, but they are not terribly strong so it may happen to anyone wearing the dress. It was easily remedied by having someone do a few quick whip stiches where the snaps were and they never opened at the event. All in all it was a lovely dress.

The dress fit well everywhere except in the arms! My arms are not toned these days, but even so the cap sleeves were so tiny I'm not sure who they would fit. In a size 10 dress you would expect a little more room! It was an absolutely gorgeous dress and I would have loved to have worn it.

While appearing heavy, the necklace was light and comfortable to wear for the whole night. Got many compliments on it, more so than the Thakoon dress I wore it with. The adjustable length made it easy to make it the perfect length. It definitely added some drama to my black dress.

I wore this to a black-tie optional charity event. It was extremely comfortable and had the bonus of having pockets. Despite the way the top appears to bow out on the model, it is extremely flattering in person and I received many compliments. It has the effect of wearing a cute crop top minus the skin-showing! Probably my favorite rental so far and the first I wished I owned. Wore it with black tights, black platform stilettos, my own Aleixs Bittar gold chandelier earrings, and a gold clutch. Was able to wear a regular bra, and eat and drink without worry. No shape wear required. Only issue was the band at the natural was a bit snug on me so I used the larger back up size. I've been running into this problem a lot since the birth of my third child (permanently expanded rib cage???) so I think it is my issue, not the dress!
