I rented this dress for my sister's bachelorette party in Atlantic City. It is not the most comfortable dress, but it definitely makes a statement. I found the straps to dig into my shoulders a bit. The entire thing is like wearing spanx. It's tight and kind of hard to move around in. I felt like the particular dress I rented was pretty stretched out in the stomach area from previous wear. Everywhere else in the dress held me in and felt flattering - except the stomach, which was loose and gaped. Overall, though, it was a flattering dress and I got lots of compliments. I would rent an Herve again but probably a different cut. The color was vibrant and beautiful. It was a fun dress for one night.

I didn't end up wearing this romper because it looked obscene on me. I'm a D cup and the teardrop opening in the front is not as subtle as it is in the photo. It also drops a lot further down than it appears on the model - like halfway down my stomach. Even in Atlantic City, I did not feel comfortable wearing it. My sister, who is a B cup, ended up wearing it since her dress from RTR was damaged and couldn't be sent to her. She used some tape and a safety pin to close up the opening about an inch and it looked very good on her. The shorts part is long enough to be flattering. She wore with platform sandals and looked amazing. She said it was very comfortable.

RTR sent me this dress after another dress I rented was returned damaged and could no longer be sent to me. I took it to Atlantic City for the first night of my sister's bachelorette weekend. We were going out to dinner and karaoke. It was the perfect dress for a girls night out/vacation. It is a very tiny dress - short and low cut. I am not sure how anyone could wear a bra with it without the bra showing. It was pretty forgiving in the mid section and very comfortable to wear if you are comfortable not wearing a bra. I didn't have a problem with the straps being too long, as other reviewers wrote. I think the dress is designed to hang low and not leave much to the imagination. The material is soft and silky and it's an ideal dress for hot weather. The cobalt blue color was very bright and fun. For what I needed it for, this was the perfect dress.

These are very pretty, well made statement earrings. I rented them to wear with a dress I already own to my husband's coworker's black tie wedding. My ears were screaming by the end of the wedding I attended and were sore for two days after. I also felt like I should have cleaned them myself before the event instead of assuming they had been cleaned because my left ear lobe felt a little infected after wearing them. They are beautiful but I'm not sure they are worth the pain!

I didn't get to actually wear this dress to my event because I had 3 canceled flights in a row and couldn't get to my sister's bridal shower in time to attend. Sorry for the lousy bathroom selfie. The fabric on this dress is much brighter and prettier in person. I gasped when I opened the package because the material is so lovely. However, after trying it on, I realized it is kind of a silky material that wrinkles when you sit, especially in warm weather. The dress has a generous cut in the skirt, but not much give or stretch in the fabric. I'm a hippy girl, but the skirt gave me some room. I am a D cup so the top of the dress fit fine with a bra. If you have a smaller chest, get out your best padded push up bra or pick another dress - it will not fit properly up top. With the way the dress is cut, kind of tank style, there is not much you can do to adjust there. Also the square neckline meant only one of my bras would work without showing. Overall I didn't feel like a knockout in the dress or that it was super flattering. It would have been fine for my event but I didn't feel like it accentuated my figure very well. It kind of just hangs there. I was also not a fan of where it hit me on my legs, I wish it was an inch or so shorter, which would have made them look longer. It's a pretty dress and the fabric is stunning. I wouldn't rent it again, though.

I wore this dress to a rehearsal dinner for some friends. It was mostly comfortable, save for the arm holes, which are a little small and don't have much give. The skirt is kind of a tulip shape, not straight, and forgives a variety of flaws in that area. I typically wear a size 6 and that's what I wore in this dress. The bust was a tad tight for my 34D chest. I did not wear a bra, which frankly, is always a bonus to me. I wore nude heels and felt like my legs looked super long in the dress. I am 5'5 and the dress was a little short. If you drop anything, have your date pick it up. :) I wore turquoise drop earrings, which were a fun pop of color against the red/orange. It's a beautiful color. The lace at the neckline needed just a little pressing to lay flat after shipping/packing. Otherwise this dress does not wrinkle one bit! Nice when you don't have to see wrinkle marks in all the photos that happen after you sit down! Overall, a great dress to rent. The tightness at the arms and bust would have prevented me from purchasing this dress, so it's awesome to be able to rent it! For one night, it was perfect.

I absolutely loved this dress! The color is vibrant and stunning without being garish or too bold. It is very flattering, hugs all the curves. I felt gorgeous in it and the dress is very high quality. I typically wear a size 6 and that was the size that fit me in this dress. Like the model I wore a turquoise necklace but paired with nude peep toe platform heels. I wore this to my sister's rehearsal dinner and got so many compliments! With this type of jersey fabric you could dress it up or down, depending on the event. I was a bit worried the dress would be too low cut for my event (I'm a D cup), but it showed just enough without being vulgar. I didn't have any problems with my bra showing. Overall very sexy! A big hit! Love it!

I love Lilly Pulitzer and one several of the brand's dresses. They ought to be ashamed of this dress. It looks so cheap in person and I was really disappointed when I got it. The fabric is thin and cheap is just about the only word that keeps coming to me to describe it. It fit fine, my typical size 6 in Lilly dresses but I didn't wear it, just sent it back. You can definitely do better on this website than this dress. Enthusiastic thumbs down.

These are so gorgeous in person! It took every ounce of willpower I had to send them back in the mail! I wore them with my bridesmaid's dress for my sister's wedding and the flash of sparkle just made my look. They are a nice weight, too - not too heavy. In fact, I forgot I had them on most of the time. Anyways, love love love!

I loved this dress and felt so gorgeous in it! I got so many compliments. I typically wear a size 6 but RTR didn't have that size available so I was able to size down to a 4 and it still fit - even in the bust (I'm a D cup) The only downside to wearing the smaller size was that made the dress a tad shorter on me and it's already a short dress. So I was just extra careful not to moon anyone!! The fabric is soft and beautiful and the dress is loose and comfortable while still flattering the figure. That's kind of a hard combination to come by. I skipped the necklace and paired with fun earrings and bracelet instead. I wore metallic braided wedge sandals with it and they worked perfectly. I wore the dress in the daytime to my sister's pre-wedding spa trip and bridesmaid lunch - but I could see dressing it up to go out at night too. Seriously considering saving my pennies to buy this dress because it is just that awesome.
