Underwhelming Basic Dress
The dress's cut is surprisingly basic and the material didn't give me the "I'm in Kate Spade" glorious feeling I normally get when I wear her designs. The smocking on the back seemed it didn't belong. I'm normally a 2, and this 2 was incredibly small in the chest (I'm between 34 B/C). When buttoned the dress gaped. The dress was also a tad shorter than what I'd feel comfortable in at work. Not impressed.

OBSESSED with this dress! Unfortunately it was too big. Fabric is great quality but thick. Not easy to hide its size if too big.

Outdoor wedding with fireworks galore!
The dress is a good go-to for outdoor wedding. The dress cuts a little tight in the back of the arms around the shoulder blades and is a bit too long (I'm 5'4 and wore 4 inch heels and I still found myself holding up the dress whenever I walked). Otherwise, it's a pretty basic, safe bet for wedding.
