Summer Pants

This look was fine, but nothing I was really excited about. I rented the 4 and 6 and wore the 4, but felt it was a little big. I think it’s supposed to be a boxier fit so maybe it’s just not what I’m used to. I definitely had to wear a cami underneath and felt the chest area was a bit big. I thought the length was good, but if I lifted my arms straight up I would definitely be flashing people. Lol. Overall, it was fine for the awards banquet I attended.

Lacy and Fun!
I wore this for an awards banquet and received many compliments! I wore the 10, which is a size 6 US and I usually wear a 4 US. I was told the dress fit me perfectly and while it looked good, it was definitely tight in the waist. I also felt like my back fat was sticking out of the lacy "see through" part of the dress. I ended up buying shapewear which I've never worn, which helped a bit. Basically, the dress was fun and really cute, but not the most comfortable.

Prohibition Fun!
I rented this for a prohibition themed dinner I attended. I felt like it worked for the occasion, but I didn't find it to be anything special. Like other reviewers said, it's not very fitted, though it's nipped in at the waist a bit. I prefer my clothes to be a bit more fitted so it's not something I would probably wear as a stand-alone piece.

I wore this wine tasting with friends. I think it would also be good for work. It's definitely on the shorter side so you need high waisted bottoms to pair with it. It's definitely a standout top and I really liked the "poofy" shoulders.

I like it, but I don't get it!
I wore this once to work and received a ton of compliments, but everyone agreed they didn't "get it". It's definitely a good conversation starter! The sweater is thick and fit like I was expecting it to.

Love the color!
I wore this to work a couple times and found it to be really comfortable. It's a little loose and it there was more room in the booty then I needed. It still looked good though and I absolutely love the color!

I think this is a great, versatile top and the picture doesn't do it justice. I wore it to work twice; once with a pencil skirt and once with black pants. I definitely would have worn this for an evening out with jeans if I'd had the opportunity.

Stunning Dress for a Gala
I rented this for a black tie charity gala and it was a perfect dress for the evening. I rented the 4 and the 6 and wore the 4. I do feel the dress fit true to size as I normally wear a 4. However, I couldn't get the dress over my hips when I tried to pull it on. I had to put it on over my head so just be aware there's really not any give. Overall, I absolutely loved my look for the evening!

First RTR Experience...Success!
I'd be debating using Rent the Runway for a few years and finally decided to for a wedding in downtown Chicago where I'd be seeing people I hadn't seen in a few years. I wanted something a little different and am so happy I went with this dress! I received quite a few compliments and was told this dress worked perfectly with my body type. I feel like it fit true to size, but I did have a little trouble pulling it over my booty when putting it on and I don't feel like I have a lot going on in that area. There isn't much give to the fabric, but once on it was great! I'll definitely be renting more in the future!
