This dress was very comfortable to wear, lovely, and I got tons of compliments! Pink is way out of my comfort zone and I honestly only went with it because I loved the dress in maroon and blue, but it wasn't available for my dates. It was such a nice surprise though, and really made me stand out in the crowd I was at! My only reason for choosing 4 stars instead of 5 is that I had to get the regular length (not sure if they didn't have the short length, or just didn't have it available for these dates) and it was realllllllly long. I had to use hem tape which was kind of stressful to apply the day of the event, and it was hard to do on such a large hem. It ended up looking fine but I think in the future I will only rent dresses that come in short.

I loved this combo! The skirt and top fit beautifully (maybe a little tight for a 6 on the skirt, but still worked) with just a sliver of skin. I wore the combo to a Catholic Church wedding with a cardigan with just the top button done, then lost the cardigan for the reception, and when we went bar hopping at the end of the night wore just the skirt with the cardigan tucked in. I got so many compliments and felt sufficiently formal but unique. These are two pieces I would love to own.

I found this dress in Bloomingdales and tried it on for a formal wedding. I fell completely in love, then saw the $600 price tag. When I found it here, I knew I had to rent it! The dress is amazingly comfortable. It has some heft due to the sequins, but it's not overbearing. It has a very nice thick lining; I was able to confidently go braless. This dress is truly a show-stopper; i had compliments all night long. An excellent choice if you want to showcase your backside. It was very easy to dance the whole night, but there was one irritant: the lining kept shimmying up and twisting while I was dancing. Probably 3 times during the evening I grabbed a friend in the bathroom and asked her to help me straighten out the twisted lining. This may have been some kind of slippery interaction with the shapewear I was wearing, or maybe just a result of too vigorous of dance moves! I wouldn't think it would be a problem at a non-dancing event.
