This dress DEFINITELY looks way prettier in person. I went to NYC Flatiron for fitting and my stylist Dani recommended this dress to me. I was the only person who wore this color/dress + received TONS of compliment all night. I'm 5'7" but I decided to get regular length since I'm a wild dancer. :)

Fabric doesn't stretch at all (as you see - it's all lacey) - if you got athletic build with defined, wide shoulder + rib cage, you won't be able to move your arms. Not even to the level so you can give people hugs. I ended up no wearing it. Dress itself runs true to size. You may consider sizing up - I wear 12, and that is the biggest one RTR offers. It's pretty blue though!

It's tight clip-on earring. It's super tight so if your ear is sensitive it may hurt after couple hours wearing it. I personally prefer tight fit earrings because I move a lot and love to dance! So it worked out perfect for me! Great for making "classy" statement to your overall outfit

Little heavy, clip is not too tight so it doesn't hurt your ear even after wearing them for more than 5 hours. But because they don't hold tight, watch out if you're planning to show some dance moves. I had to take my earrings off because it almost slipped out of my ears. I caught it before it dropped to the floor.

LOVE: Dress! I usually don't wear sequins because they drop everywhere - this one worked out fine! Everyone complimented my dress all night - felt like I'm an Oscar winning actress! Also, fabric is pretty thick so I didn't have to wear my bra. MEH: Fabric is kinda saggy so it's REALLY hard to zip in general. I tried to zip and unzip without wearing it and it was still hard. If you don't have an extra hand to help you out, this can be a challenge. Also, glad I rented regular not long one - I'm 5'7", wore 3 in heel but it was still little bit dragging on the ground, which made little hard to dance.

I rented this dress for the date night. This is my second rental here and I do tend to pick comfortable dress - because I love walking, dancing, and enjoying the moment! Still, I want to look great! Since I'm the first one to write a review, here's some comment on the dress itself. FYI - I recently gained some weight. I usually wear regular 8, but I think I'm in between 8 and 9 now. Uploaded photo isn't definitely my very best shot (without makeup) but that's my only shot with the entire look together. 1. I ordered 8 and 10, ended up wearing 10. Size 8 looked better on me (better length, I say - 10 was bit longer) but bust was bit tight and I needed spanx to look better on the waist. This was our casual night out (but I wanted to get dressed up!) so I didn't want to wear spanx. So I just went ahead with 10. But for more formal occasion, I'd definitely have chosen size 8 with spanx - the fabric stretches for bit, so it's still comfortable. 2. Color - darker blue than I expected. Still, beautiful dress. 3. On the size & fit page, it says the dress runs slightly small - but I don't think so. I think this dress runs true to size. That's also the answer I got from the stylist (because I was worried that I might not even fit into 10) Overall, this is very nice summer dress for any occasion. :)

Reese' review down there really helped me a lot. I also rented this for my friend's wedding, and it worked perfect. Color is deep purple (prettier than what I saw on computer screen!) and dress is super comfortable, embracing my curves. Size-wise.. I'm in between sizes as well, so I wore a size up (bust was bit too tight for me). So make sure you rent an extra size to get the one right for you. External zipper issue - I didn't mind at all. but you can definitely see the silver zip on the side, so if that bothers you, give a second thought. Overall, I received a million compliments on it! this was my first RTR experience and loved every moment :)
