I ended up not being able to wear this dress because it was simply far too long. (Wish regular sizes were available for us smaller girls!) If I were taller, though, it would have been a stunner. Definitely know that you're renting a very sexy dress here; on me, the cutouts exposed a larger swath of midriff than they do on the model. And because of the fit in the chest (though this may be different for taller girls), I was concerned that a quick movement might lead to a wardrobe malfunction. If you're able to make it work, though, you'll undoubtedly be the center of attention all evening, so revel in it! As for fit and color: The fit is classic Herve, so go with your usual size, and note that the color is more of a true orange than red.

This might be my favorite dress I've ever rented: an unexpected showstopper The color is beautiful -- a rich wine hue perfect for fall/winter. The material has a luxe sheen, but its weight makes it a far more appealing choice than satin. The cut is insanely flattering for an hourglass figure, too; even though it has that mermaid-esque silhouette, it drapes so nicely without hugging anything unsightly. And the little details make it really special: the straps, the buttons, the discreet slit that amps up the sexiness. Basically, perfection.
