Unexpected and loved! I felt super cool and hip at a party in TriBeCa and at a bar in midtown. The only thing a renter should be aware of: the slip is SUPER short. Frequently I had to pull it down to cover my butt. I wore black tights which helped. If you are looking for coverage or at all worried about coverage, this is NOT the dress for you.

I rented this because I loved the look. I didn't really have an event, but wore it to a family Christmas dinner (which is why I wore odd socks with it). It was beautiful and super comfy. The picture isn't great lighting. It's more emerald green in real life. The front is cut low (for a family Christmas dinner), so I wore a tank under. If I wore it to a party I wouldn't have worn the tank. I wish it had pockets and would have given it 5 stars if it did. I'd totally rent it again!

I rented this dress for a wedding. I rented the medium and the small. I typically wear a 4-6 depending on the designer. I'm smaller chested with slightly bigger hips comparatively. Overall an athletic build. The medium was slightly roomy in the waist and hips, but not overly roomy. I couldn't wear the medium because the chest cups were too large for me. The small fit like a glove. Maybe slightly too snug, but not uncomfortable or difficult to zip or move in. The color is a deep purple like eggplant. It was more purple than I had expected (I thought it was more burgundy). It was lovely though. I felt comfortable, pretty, and a bit sexy without being over the top.
