This is definitely more of a fall/winter piece, as the fabric is heavy. It would work well in a later stage of pregnancy, as there is the option to expand the skirt. Given my height and that I'm pregnant with twins, I opted to size up which was a mistake at only 4 months. The dress kept opening since the only thing keeping it together is the belt. I spent the day at work worried I'd flash someone when I sat down. Thank goodness I was wearing tights.

I got a lot of wear out of this as a maternity piece! Christmas dinner, a NYE party, out to dinner and Broadway show, and even wore it once to work. Very flowy fabric that hid my bump well and didn't crease, which we love for re-wear. Really liked the back detail though my husband needed to help me in and out of it.

I was pleasantly surprised that this fit so well given that I'm 5 months pregnant with twins and over 6'. The arm length was perfect (LONG) and I didn't feel constricted in the slightest around my belly. I wore to a holiday party with a maxi skirt and to work with slim pants; can easily be dressed up or down. I would buy this in a more neutral color!
