This dress has early 2000's Come de Garçon vibes, so I paired with my leather jacket & oxfords to complete the look. The multi layers and textures of the skirt were my favorite thing about this dress. It was a bit chilly so I also layered a UNIQLO heat tech turtleneck under.

I am very pear shaped. My shoulders are very small and narrow and my hips are pretty wide. The size 8 was way too big on top and the hips were pretty snug. Luckily, I live in San Francisco and wore this to an evening wedding that was partially outdoors, so keeping my leather jacket on was less of a choice and more of a necessity. The weather was certainly in my favor even if the dress proportions + my body shape were not. I still received many compliments and no one realized that if I took my jacket off the top half of the dress would fall off my body.

The skirt fit well at the waist, the liner was good material and the length was a bit longer than what I'd hoped for, but still short enough that I could still wear shoes with ankle straps. Got compliments from everyone I saw the whole night.
