Even though I'm only 5'5, I couldn't quite make this work as a sweater "dress". I wore black leggings with this and it was perfect for a day of travel. Not too hot, but definitely warm enough to keep the DC chill at bay, this sweater worked perfect for my return trip home. Feeling stylish while traveling is just an added bonus!

I rented this fabulous (and sexy) dress for our first night out in Vegas, and it was PERFECT! It's a bodycon dress, but so figure flattering. The material is very thick, so no weird bulges or bumps were shown. I wore this to dinner, and was easily still able to eat and drink comfortably while sitting down. I honestly cannot remember if I wore the S or the M though- so sorry! I remember that they both fit almost identical because of the material and type of dress. I really feel like you cannot go wrong in this hot little number!!

I ordered this in a size small as a back up to another order. I would say to size up because the pant legs are more narrow than I expected. It fit oddly on my body- too loose on top, too tight across my thighs and very long. The color is very pretty though and would have looked great if only the fit was better on me.

Wore this for a semi-formal reception and it was perfect! The size 4R fit just right- not to tight on the lower half, not to loose on the upper half. The size chart recommended that I order my back up one size up, but I would say this is definitely true to size. In a sea of cocktail dresses, this simple pantsuit really stood out.

I wore this dress to an semi-formal evening wedding at the end of summer and it worked really well- just the right amount of fancy and casual. And I'm a sucker for anything with pockets! The only down side was that the pleating wasn't pressed very well when it arrived and the halter hooks were almost completely unattached, but I have no doubt that the great team at RTR has taken care of all of that for future renters. Dressed up or dressed down, this is a great spin on the Little Black Dress!

I wore this to a black tie wedding in April and it was great!! I rented both the 2L and the 4R (2R was unavailable), and the length was the only problem I had. I am right under 5'5" and even with high heels on, the L length was a bit too long. 4R was too big and ill fitting. The size 2 fit perfectly though, so I just went with the longer length. Found myself holding up the train in the back to keep people from dancing on top of it, but it all worked out just fine.

I've had a lot of successful rentals over the years, but this one was 1-star worthy for me. The color was beautiful and the lace is so feminine, but the fit of the dress was no good in my opinion. The nude slip appeared to be pulled down below the lace in the front only on both my rentals. Would have looked ok if it was showing on all sides (or not showing at all, which I would have preferred). I returned within 12 hours of receiving my rental and was issued a credit immediately.

This dress was perfect for a dinner celebration with my girlfriends! The 2 fit perfectly and I got compliments all night. I choose not to wear the necklace that RTR sent with it b/c I didn't want to cover the ruffle front. Instead I wore fun earrings and nude shoes. Great rental for a dinner/date/casual affair :)

Such a cute little summer dress with 2 exceptions- super short and no lining/slip/nothing underneath! The cutouts all over the top and bottom of the fabric are truly cut out for your skin to show underneath. Not what I was going for when I planned to wear this to a baby shower... I was also in between sizes- XS wouldn't zip; S was too big. Not my best rental by far.

I rented this for NYE dinner and felt like a million dollars! Since the dress is pretty swingy, I chose the smaller of the 2 rental sizes sent. Could have worn either though. What made it even better was that I could actually EAT, drink and dance without feeling like I was going to bust a seam. Pulled my hair back to show off the shoulder detail and wore fun earrings. Definitely would rent again!

This dress was pretty, but just not what I needed for my bday party. The V neck wasn't quite as plunging as I had hoped (think just a basis V neck tshirt) and the fit was too baggy for my curves. Might have been ok if I had rented the XS, but overall the cut of the dress just wasn't what I had in mind. Probably better fitted for a long and lean body, as opposed to mine.

I rented this for a springtime wedding in DC- the navy color was perfect for the event and the lace was beautiful. However, I fell right in between the two sizes I rented, and never felt 100% comfortable with either. (Small waist + fuller hips = either baggy midsection/perfect fit around hips OR perfect fit at waistline/not sure I can sit down the whole night around hips...) Nothing wrong with the dress, but definitely best suited for a straigher figure.

It's above the knee and form fitting in all the right places. I used double sticky tape to keep the inside layer of the top in place, just in case- knew it would be difficult to wear a bra, and didn't want a wardrobe malfunction !
