The trick to wearing the dress is to ignore the buttons. Use the ties to secure the dress; the buttons are just decoration. I loved this dress! It was surprisingly wearable for work, date nights, and other events where I wanted to look polished. The fabric holds its shape beautifully and is much more comfortable against the skin than it looks. My only complaint is that my chest didn't quite fill out the top (I have a smaller bust relative to my clothing size), so I needed one piece of fashion tape at the top of the chest to prevent gapping.

I wore this dress for ~10 hours during an outdoor wedding ceremony and photo shoot. The pros: I was incredibly impressed with the comfort and wearability. It's a gorgeous, elegant gown and I got tons of compliments. It was very flattering to my straight body shape. The con: even with the petite size and 1-inch heels, the dress was slightly brushing the ground. This was not an issue while standing still, but I had to carry the ends when walking around. I rate this dress 5 stars despite the slight length issue because of the lovely fit, noteworthy style, and comfortable wear.
