Expensive stretchy fabric, flattering, hides imperfections

Very pretty fabric, with fantastic shimmer of light blue hue, not visible in photo.
Runs small in size in general (I never wear skirt in size 8 but glad I read the reviews and ordered an 8). The skirt is also very narrow. If you are not tall, the length will not work for you. If you have broad hips, it may be too tight. Because of how tight it is, I had to wear a long jacket over it for work but I still loved the skirt! The fabric is simply fantastic!

It is a bit boxy for those who want a tighter fit but I wore it for work, it was perfect, enjoyed it very much

I don't think I would ever own a dress with this pattern so it was fun to wear it for variety
True to size BUT absolutely not recommended for cup size D as it will flatten your chest. A little bit less glamorous than I imagined but OK overall with one caveat: Not the best dress for an hourglass figure even though it is made of stretch fabric (the chest tight, the waist a bit loose)

I wore it for work, it was stylish without being over the top
The skirt was nice, a little less glamorous than I expected but totally fine. It was nice that it was not loose in the waist (if you are not slender in the waist, you might need a bigger size)

It was nice and flashy, went with the dress
It did not stay put in perfect rows as presented in the picture. You can see the way it really looked in my photo. So that was different from my expectations but worked out over all.

Excellent dress, no doubts about it. Stretch to accommodate a larger bust. I would prefer it were at bit tighter in the waste but it's hard enough to find a dress for my hourglass figure so no complaints. Easy to handle, easy to put on, easy to dance in. Material is high quality and looks expensive. I am wondering if I could have worn a 42. The bottom would have fit for sure but can't say definitively about the bust (even though it is stretch). The material the bottom is made of is thicker, you can where whatever you want underneath, it won't show. My only concern about the dresses is why they arrive with a tad of smell? Is it from all the dry cleaning? Or some ladies smoke too much in them so the smell doesn't come out? I essentially doused it with perfume. Even so, I am so extremely pleased with the dress, I am giving it a 5.

The color and shimmer
While the color, shimmer, and flattering shape make it stand out, I would not recommend it for ladies who are a bit bigger in the arms, it is not flattering that way. The attached is the best picture of my arms, I would not share the other ones because they are unflattering. I ordered this dress with a 2-day notice so I had to pick from what was available, otherwise I would not have gone for laced sleeves (but they look wonderful on ladies with skinny arms). Also I forgot that this dress would require a special bra because of the open shoulders and had to just push the straps of a regular bra off my shoulders, which might be noticeable in this picture. This dress requires appropriate undergarments to cover imperfections because it is rather thin. Overall, if baring your shoulders is not a problem and you are not concerned about the size of your arms, it is a nice dress.
