Size up is solid advice, especially for room in the chest and for length. Man is this a short dress! I was uncomfortable doing anything other than standing, but it did look cute, and I wanted to feel confident...I just wasn't. And sitting was just obscene...my bottom wasn't covered, I feel quite certain. This is a definite "do not bend down, take the stairs, or raise your hands" kind of dress. But it is adorable otherwise, and the fabric is heavy enough that it doesn't blow up in a breeze easily. Would be super cute on a petite frame.

This dress didn't have much to offer for flattering a figure. It did, however, cover flaws and allow for enjoying a full brunch. What made it unwearable for me is that the neckline rolls down, revealing the lining. I couldn't readjust the dress in any way to make this stop, and I don't think pressing the garment again would have helped. I honestly think it is a design flaw. It made me very self-conscious and I avoided any and all photo ops because it was so unattractive. Otherwise a cute dress (a belt would help if you want a defined shape).

Wish I had a better pic to share, but the point here is that all these pleats make this dress easy to wear. I dressed it down with a denim jacket and booties and also wore it with heels for an evening out. Loved both looks, and the soft pink goes great with the Tory Burch tote. It was a little bit of a pain to wear on a breezy day, but was long enough to wear with confidence through airport security screening. The only negative is that the armholes were larger than I would have liked, but I was also wearing at least a size larger than normal (because that's all that was available). Easily size down or up with this dress...very forgiving!

This classic dress travels wonderfully, easily dresses up or down, and is a true Carolina blue. Conservative, but the v in front keeps it flirty (not overtly sexy). Wouldn't be the best choice for breezy, outdoor conditions or twirling on the dance floor. Even with the heavier fabric, you'd likely flash everyone.

Loved the color (looked fab with Tory Burch pink tote), would have preferred a softer fabric, lined to knee and unlined in back but not revealing. I had to wear wedge sandals and it would have skimmed the ground at that, so I was limited where I could wear it. Fell open around legs when seated at bar, which wasn't an issue for me but might bother some (could be held, tucked, or pinned easily). Chose this picture because it best represents how the dress felt a little bit like I was wearing a robe...which happened to be super comfy but could feel frumpy to some, I suppose. Shorter sleeves made wearing at a meal possible.

Comfortable fit, fantastic travel dress (doesn't wrinkle easily), true red color. Would be perfect for outdoor event because it won't blow around in breezy conditions...and it would be fabulous for dancing. Shows just the right amount of leg, even when sitting, but it does show skin to shorts level (when sitting or moving).

Carried this with me on college tours and received many compliments. Easily held computer, iPad and other gear. Thin straps aren't as comfortable if the bag is weighted down. The pink is fairly neutral, center zip kept computer protected, but the rest of the bag is open, with no pockets, so consider smaller organizational bags so things aren't loose and flying around.
