This dress ended up being a replacement dress because my original pick couldn't make it to me in time. IM SO GLAD IT WAS! It was the perfect dress for my event. Since it was a replacement dress I was only able to pick one size. I'm usually an 8 but that was unavailable and according to other reviews some sized down so I ordered the six (which I also sometimes wear). Like other reviewers it was a little tight at the band but noting uncomfortable and I just didn't use the clasp (no one noticed). I am 5'8" and it was the perfect length with flats.
