Gorgeous cut-outs, I felt sexy and formal at the same time. I am 5'7" and wish the 4L had been available. I'm glad I read other reviews and went with the 4 instead of the 2, the 4 fit like a glove. The strap in the back DOES LOOK LIKE A BRA STRAP, so avoid unless you have a very deft hand, fashion tape, or a good old needle and thread so that you can sew yourself into the dress. Otherwise it really does look like a mess in back. If you can figure out the back (doable!) then don't hesitate to rent this dress, it is stunning! I got so many compliments on this - wore it to a black tie wedding with a fuchsia clutch and it stole the show :)

Wore this for my very dear friend's baby shower in Greenwich. It was a little dressy for the party, but certainly appropriate. The pattern made it very cute - and oh my, is it comfortable! Definitely can tell its Kate Spade :) Was able to go straight from the shower to a dinner event. Wore black tights and suede heeled boots with it, but could easily have changed the boots to Louboutins for dinner for a more dressed up feel.

Pros: Hard to find a dress for a September wedding, especially one that goes from day to night. This dress fit the bill. I tend to wear a 2 or a 4 - the 4 fit perfectly, although there was a little room to spare up top (I wear a 32 or 34B). I appreciated the built in strapless bra, but was annoyed that when clasped on the tightest clasps, the dress almost bagged out in back, so you could see the bra! Maybe made for someone bigger up top. Overall, I wish I owned this dress, I can think of a million occasions for which it would be appropriate. Would love to buy!

Wore this dress to a brunch on the morning of a wedding in California. It was perfect! Very classy, definitely appropriate for the Pebble Beach club setting. I normally order sizes 2 and 4 from RTR, but after reading the comments I decided to order a 4 and 6, and am very glad I did - the 6 fit like a glove (couldn't even fit a bra under it, and I'm small up top). Would definitely recommend!

LOVED this dress, received so many compliments, looked great with a tan. I normally wear a 2 or 4; the 2 was way too small, but the 4 fit with some room to spare. Would definitely recommend for the summer! Wish I owned it!
