Unexpectedly good.
I normally favor sheath or frankly anything that does not add volume to my bottom half. This dress however was so adorable, I had to wear it. I felt like my old "Pretty in Pink" barbie doll from the 80s. I loved it. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is tight on the top and a bit loose at the waist given the weight of the fabric so this won't work for all figures. I am small busted and skipped a bra for a more room on top. It was a hit at my niece's wedding and so fun to dance in.

Warm and comfortable but still sexy
Wore this for dinner with my husband on our anniversary at the coast. The dress was warm and comfortable (spanx-not required). The cut-out shoulders made it tasteful but still sexy. As with any black dress, this is the perfect canvas to highlight any accessories. The neckline is a mock turtle so I went sans necklace and wore fun shoes; a bright clutch would also work well with this dress.

Fun party dress
Overall a very nice dress. I received a lot of compliments. It was perfect for our annual NYE party. I liked the ruching, comfort and length. I was disappointed that there was a bare spot on the shoulder of missing sequins and I didn't like the off center v of the neckline. Also I found the dress exceedingly difficult to get on and off. Caution to those with curly hair.

This dress was perfect for my engagement photos.
Very pretty dress that is feminine and sweet. I found the overall fit of the dress to run small. We could not get the size six to zip up over my ribcage. You will need a strapless bra to wear this. Only criticisms were there was a small stain on the bust of the dress and the bottom under skirt liner hangs lower than the lace overlay which I didn't like. A little double stick tape along the bottom hem remedied that issue for me.
