I rented this as a back up and didn't end up wearing it. I was a judge at a preliminary competition for Miss America and decided to go with a lace dress with less flash. I kept this dress for a bit hoping I would have a reason to wear it, but didn't. That said, the dress fit wonderfully, I have a pot belly and the dress made me look curvy not lumpy. It is stretchy and very comfortable. As with any sequin dress, it will rub under the arms so move accordingly.

When you need to look like pure class
When you need to look like pure class but not outshine the star of the ball (in this case I was a judge for a preliminary competition to Miss America), THIS IS IT! I rented the 8L and the 10L and could have worn either one as the dress has some stretch. I am 5' 11" and wanted to wear heels, so I chose the 10L. The dress really is WOW in-person. My only disappointment was that the dress had a hole on the hip (see close up photo). It would have been appreciated if RTR would repair it with a few stitches.

Loose and lovely for a luau rehearsal dinner
Great loose fitting dress in a fun print. I am a size 6-8. Both the small and the medium fit. The medium gapped a little too much when I bent forward (I went braless), so I went with the small. I thought the small also hung more straight. It was plenty long. I am 5' 11" and wore flat sandals. Only drawback is the straps were difficult to tighten or loosen.

I wore this dress as the mother of the groom, and it could not have been more purr-fect!
The dress fit true to size. I ordered a 6 and an 8. After gaining 11 pounds over the summer (beer!) I figured I would need the 8. I did not even try on the 6. The fit is very flattering and eases over a pot belly/muffin top. I did not wear a bra. The dress hit just above my knee. I received a ton of compliments. The dress photographs well (the photos here are quick ones as I left the salon), and everyone oo'ed over the dress. It has a sweet blue jewel closure in the back. It doesn't show a lot of skin (appropriate for the occasion), but I still felt gorgeous. The dress was bride approved. Other reviewers noted that the dress felt tight in the sleeve. I was not worried about that as I have slim arms; nevertheless, note that the net fabric does not stretch and the sleeve is a small cap sleeve, so if you plan to raise your arms over your head a lot while dancing, you may want to re-think this as a choice. Over all, it is a stunning dress!

Hit the Mark for a Pre-wedding Mixer
I saw this dress on RTR and immediately loved it but was discouraged by the reviews. I am so glad I trusted my gut. I rented this dress as my 2nd choice with the intention of wearing it to a house party the night before an Oregon Coast wedding. I got a size 6 and 8. The 6 fit well, but I went with the 8 as it was a tad looser in the waist and a little bit longer. My review is contrary to everything posted! I am 5'11", wore 4" wedges, I have small breasts, went brakes, and I am showing you the back of the dress!

Summer Stand Out!
This is a gorgeously tailored dress. I rented it for an Oregon Coast wedding. I wore subtle gold jewelry and accessories as trying to match the pink is futile, and there is absolutely no reason to compete with this stand out dress. The fabric is heavy with a bit of stretch, the leaves are gold and green iridescent, and the overall look is bright but luxe. I wore the 6 as it was the only size available. I am 5' 11", lean with a bit of a tiny, and 34 DD (which in Victoria Secret language means I am an "A" with "side boob." Hey, I am 54. I needed to be "zipped" into the dress, but once on I looked fabulous and felt comfortable for 12 hours. I am pictured here after kicking off my gold booties and slipping into Converse for the evening.
