Some cons, it's missing about five rhinestone sprinkles from the ice cream cone and the rhinestones catch on everything, but the design of the purse more than makes up for it. It's so fun to wear! Very easy to match the color to the outfit since it's so colorful too.

FYI - the sash is in the mesh pocket in a black drawstring bag. I cannot say enough good things about this dress, and it saved my weekend as the other dress I rented was a complete disaster. I wore it to an art exhibit in the evening, then an informal BBQ the day after. I felt neither underdressed or overdressed at either, and the dress stayed comfortable throughout. Didn't need to use fashion tape at all. I usually don't look good in these ruffle-y monstrosities, but seriously, as soon as I put this on, it was incredible. Sash keeps your figure accentuated but the ruffles add a lot of forgiveness without completely engulfing you. I'm 5'2", and wore 5" wedges in the evening, then flip flops during the BBQ. I just adjusted the straps and voila, perfect length. Why don't all maxis come with adjustable straps? Seriously, this is the most well designed maxi I've had the pleasure of knowing.

The pearls really add a glam factor and the conversion between back pack, hand held and cross body gives it a good bit of versatility. Very roomy inside, can fit everything you need for day-to-day usage. Hardware is chunky and heavy (which I like). Leather is that sort of gummy, floppy, chewy leather with a matte finish.

I usually like heavier weight material, and this one was not it. Flimsy and holds wrinkles. You will probably need to steam before you can wear safely. But the collar and sleeves are very classically cute. The drop waist helps hide the tummy and the shortness helps with those of us who are height-challenged. Overall pretty good.

I would never have rented this if I was just looking online. But when I went to the store and saw it draped over a sales associate's arm, I just had to try it. Something about the weight and shine of the material just called me. It was the first one of the 7 gowns I tried on, and looking back I don't know why I tried on this rest. This was it. This was the ONE. The collar lay perfectly over my chest, and the thick material and boning in the rib area meant I didn't need a bra. The mesh straps added enough interest but kept things classy. The interior skirt (the skinny one), thinned the profile but the train of the skirt added a whole other dimension to the dress. It twirled and showed leg when I moved (back of the interior skirt is slitted up the back) and moved with my hips when I danced. Honestly, I was genuinely afraid of outshining the bride, but I didn't care. It my first black tie wedding and damn it if I wasn't going to look good.

I think this would look better on someone with thinner hips. Material is very thick, so doesn't hold wrinkles which is good, but also you can't tuck this into anything. Neck ribbon is made of the same thick material and very very difficult to get to lay correctly. I looked like a nun.

Beautiful heavy material. EXTREMELY hot in the middle because there are 4 or 5 layers of that thick, heavy material, so be ready to sweat a little. Runs small, had to wear my back up size. Beautiful layering, skirt flares artistically. Doesn't really show off your curves, kind of has a life of its own.
