Honestly disappointing … okay for Zoom
So honestly, I found this really disappointing. The chest area is open to widely to wear it with nothing underneath (like the model), so it needs to be worn with a camisole underneath. But because of the location of the side-tie, it pulls the camisole, which means if you have a V-neck camisole underneath, you’ll be constantly readjusting all day. (I’d recommend wearing a square neckline camisole underneath, to avoid this issue.) It’s also a little boxy and unflattering. I think it’s fine for Zoom meetings, because it has a nice lapel, but I wouldn’t wear it to any place or event that’s in-person.

Wore to the theater
I wore this to see a Broadway show, and brought a cardigan sweater along for the air conditioning. It was perfectly nice, I enjoyed wearing it, it fit well and was comfortable. That said, it didn’t feel particularly special — it seemed a bit plain — and I don’t think I would get it again. The ruching was a nice touch. And I appreciate the more conservative neckline, and think it would probably be good for an office.

LOVE!!!!!
Absolutely perfect. I really want to buy it. The ruching is flattering. Gives me an hourglass figure. It’s just the right amount of coverage that it’s appropriate to wear to work, but you could also wear it to a party or a date. It’s very very very, very very bright. Much brighter than it appears in photos. Personally, I love that. Rented the size 6, and it was perfect, I’m 5’1” and 130 lbs.

Too small. Couldn’t wear it
I’m typically a size 6, and based on reviews, I sized up to an 8. I could technically zip it up, but it was way too tight. Decided not to wear it, and then had a heck of a time trying to take it off. If you rent this, I recommend going two sizes up .

Wore it twice, work situations both times, and loved it. It’s flattering and form fitting and gives me an hourglass figure, but is also workplace appropriate. It’s feminine and professional. Seriously considering purchasing this if the price is right. The size UK 10 fit perfectly at 5’1” and 130 lbs

Wore in a formal work setting. I got so many compliments on my professional look. My friend said that I looked like I was running for office. I got this as a four-day event rental, and I got both a size 4 and size 6. Technically both sizes fit, but the size 6 was slightly roomier (in a good way), more comfortable, and felt more suitable for a formal workplace setting. (Size 4 was more form-fitting and felt more suitable for a formal party.)

Love it, but open chest and very short shorts
I love this so much that I decided to buy it. But that said, two warnings: first, if you’re bigger-chested, you will need a safety pin. Second, the shorts are very short. I’m 5’1” and these are the shortest shorts I’ve worn in years. I think you could probably pull this off if you are 5’2” or shorter, but if you’re 5’3” or above, I’d think carefully about whether or not you want to try these shorts on for length.

Beware if you’re petite
Petites beware … it’s not as petite-friendly as I had hoped, based on the reviews. I’m 5’1” and 1/2 inch tall, and I had to literally roll up the legs in order to avoid stepping on them (especially when going outside). But overall, it’s a really comfy piece, great for a casual day running errands or working from home.

Get fabric tape for the chest
As long as you are OK with getting some fabric tape for the chest, the dress is amazing. I got so many compliments. It fit me absolutely perfectly. Honestly, I considered buying it, but want to try on a few more dresses before committing to a purchase. Still, I would totally rent this again.

Too small / too tight in chest
Much much much too tight in the chest area. I really liked this jacket and I wanted to wear it regardless, but when I saw myself in photos, I was actually embarrassed about how much this was straining at the chest. I really liked it otherwise, and would probably size up and try it again. If this were a different jacket, I would just leave it unbuttoned. But this is the type of jacket that you really DO have to button at the chest, because otherwise it loses its appeal… It’s the type of jacket that looks much better when buttoned. But that means that the fit in the chest has to be right.

Weird sleeves
I really wanted to like this, but honestly the sleeves were a dealbreaker. I tried to tie them up or get them out-of-the-way, but they ended up just creating so much friction to the outfit (creating an irritation that I always needed to monitor) that the sleeve issue was too distracting, and so I never really wanted to wear it.
