The color pops and is a subtle alternative to red, which is great for weddings where you want color, but not steal away from the bride. Pockets are great, especially when posing for pictures, but you won't want to carry anything too heavy since it is a strapless dress. Plus, anything bulky will ruin the pretty, feminine flow of this dress. Didn't feel the need to wear a necklace because the sweetheart neckline is so pretty, but I did add some big earrings. Would be great with bangles too. Overall, this dress felt a bit too casual. It's pretty, but in hindsight, I would've worn it to a more everyday affair.

Pros: The boning kept my boobs in place and created a flattering smooth line. The color was vibrant and pretty. I received compliments all night. It was soft, feminine, pretty, and sexy all rolled into one without distracting from the bride, which is a major plus at a wedding event. Cons: Was missing the black ribbon belt, so I went last minute to a fabric store to purchase satin ribbon. The puffy detailed bottom will make your hip and upper thigh area feel bigger, but it's just the design of the dress. Stay confident in it! The hem of the dress was pinned up with safety pins---not sure why.

Material was light-weight and perfect for the 90-something degree day! It photographed well, which is one of the most important things when being interviewed on a red carpet. The length was great. Easy to walk (and run!) in gracefully.The band on top wasn't constricting. Also, I usually worry about a strapless dress having an elastic band being so tight that my boobs below it jut out funny, but this dress didn't do that :-) The ruffles were ultra feminine. FYI, the dress is a tinge more purple than pink as pictured on the model, but still looked great. Received many compliments, including from the photographers and interviewers.
