This looked classy! I wasn't sure how formal or casual the event was, and this dress would be perfect for either. I was much more comfortable sizing up. The waist is snug and sits higher, which creates a weird bunch in the back. The larger size sat slightly lower on my waist, which makes the bust sit lower too (showing more cleavage if you have any - I don't!). It also felt a bit short to me, so the next size up gave me that extra length. Also, the ruffles seem to lay flat.

I love the mid waist, wide leg look and these were perfect. I'm in between sizes, so these might run large... I rented my smaller size and they fit comfortably with a little stretch (not too much). I wore this dress for a cocktail attire wedding. It is a gorgeous dress and comfortable in every way. I could have gone without a bra, but I wore an adhesive bra for my own comfort. While the dress is form-fitting, it has a stretch to it, making it easy to dance or sit. It is knee-length, showing enough leg without feeling exposed when bending over. It pairs well with nude shoes and a simple bracelet. Several other women were wearing navy, lace dresses but this dress was the most exquisite.
