This dress was not my original dress. I ordered a dress that another renter had accidentally picked up. So when I got to the store they offered me a new dress. At first I was disappointed but once I tried this dress on I knew it was perfect! It fit my growing baby bump so well and it was perfect for going to see a broadway show later that night. Cute, casual and flirty. I got a lot of compliments while walking around that night. The staff at the RTR store was super helpful and I'm glad I made the choice to pick up my dress instead of having it shipped so this could happen exactly the way it did!

This dress unfortunately did not fit. Reading the other reviews I knew the 2 would be too small but the 4 was unavailable...still I just had to try. Well we got me in it but it would've been an uncomfortable mess all night. The top fit perfect but my hips are too big for a 2 - so the 4 might have fit my hips but would've probably been too big around the waist. Regardless it was an adorable dress and I would've LOVED to have worn it for my Bachelorette party but Alas...earwax...

Loved this dress!! It fit perfectly for my 50's themed "Housewife" Bridal Shower. The underarms were cut a little small like a previous user described, but it wasn't uncomfortable enough to pose a problem. Though I believe it did lend itself to my biggest problem with this dress (and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars...) which was that it smelled. The dress was obviously dry cleaned, but the odor from the armpits was persistent...enough that I smelled it immediately when I took it out from the bag. I aired it out while I was showering hoping the steam would help and also sprayed it with some fabric freshener which seemed to alleviate the odor but if you really really sniffed it, it was still smelly. It was fine to wear at the event because the fabric freshener did its job, but beware that due to it's thick fabric and highcut armholes, the dress could have an odor... Also - special thanks for sending the free sample of mascara with the dress - I love that little touch and the mascara is awesome!

So overall I thought the dress was nice but it didn't blow me away like I wanted it to. And unfortunately it had a few issues. It's a popular dress so I imagine that it gets rented a lot and it showed. There were a few holes, some of the sequins were loose, and the lining of the dress was too long and it kept creeping down past the hem. I thought it looked nice on me but it was a little big and I probably should have rented the zero too instead of the four. I got a lot of compliments but it just wasn't perfect. This was my first RTR experience and while I will continue to use the service I was a little disappointed.
