Great dress for a Blacktie Wedding
This dress was great once it was on! It was perfect for a summer black tie wedding. Two issues I had with the dress... (1) the zipper was a pain on both sizes! The material must be really tough. I rubbed a little bit of candle wax on it and it helped a lot. (2) I rented the long and as a 5'9" person with 3" heels on, it was off the ground. Additionally the slip & crinoline would show. I decided to pin it up with two safety pins, so it worked out fine, but the length was definitely a concern. All in all though, once those were fixed, it was a great dress to wear!

Fun, different dress for our engagement party!
I picked out this dress months before our engagement party. I was deciding between this dress and another lace one I bought, but ultimately decided to go with this one because it was a unique take on the bridal shower dress! The movement in the skirt is really fun and flirty, so it'd be perfect for a daytime event or - in this case - and evening cocktail party. I will say it doesn't cinch at the waist as much as I was expecting, It didn't make me look wide, but had the waist line had a thicker belt, it would have been even more flattering. Highly Recommend!!!

Fun, bright dress for a friend's rehearsal dinner!
The dress was super fun and bright... definitely stood out for a summer party / rehearsal dinner! The skirt rides up a little over the course of the night, but nothing that couldn't be managed. Definitely have to wear a strapless dress because straps will show on the shoulders. Not my favorite dress I've ordered, but super fun and different from the black dresses I'm used to wearing! (also sorry for the hideous pose... the only one we took that showed below my bust!)

Friend's wedding
This dress is AMAZING! It's so flattering and I got tons of compliments. The skirt really sucks you in, and because it's black, is so slimming. I got tons of compliments, and the little cutout was really subtly sexy. PAINS me to send this one back :(

Family wedding
I was really excited about this dress and think, in theory, it would be awesome. I wore it, but wouldn't recommend it. First, the arms are definitely tight, so keep that in mind (the reason I had to size up, and still felt like it was snug). Second, it comes with pockets. Cool? Not cool. The pockets billow out so I look like I'm wearing a 18th century colonial garb. It easily added 20 lbs to my hips which I already don't need. I ended up sitching them down for the night which helped, but all in all, wouldn't recommend this one unless you're lacking curves.

This dress is perfect for our bachelorette night on the town in Nashville!
I'm definitely hippy, with a extra loving in my stomach. This dress concealed everything & more. Super conmfortable & flattering, and the boat neck really flatters a nice collarbone. It's backless, so super sexy, but must be worn without a bra. Since it's so tight and flattering, I didn't even need one! Couldn't recommend this MORE and wish I owned it!!
