Stood out like a lighthouse in a sea of black.
This dress was a hit. I wore it to a friends wedding and received multiple compliments throughout the night. Most of the girls wore black so there was nothing quite like this dress. The color works very well on girls of a tanned/ olive/ dark complexion such as myself. The fabric is beautiful and the cut of the dress highlighted my curves and minimized my stress points (tummy). I didn't even need a spanx. Ha! I headed the warnings from other reviewers and ordered the smaller size which a risk because it was the only size available. Like other reviewers I too found challenges with the straps. There were small pin marks inside the dress from others who obviously found the same challenges. I basically pined my bra into the dress and didn't have to worry the entire night although I highlighted my cleavage more than I am used to, the dress was well received. A Note about the shoe option: This dress is worthy of gold strappy heels or a nude peep-toe pump. Shipping was a breeze. It was my first rent but certainly wont be the last.

Sexy Little Number
I rented this as a back of dress for a friends wedding. Both dresses were a close tie. I even considered changing into this dress for the reception but did want to be "that girl". This dress is just the right amount of sexy without across as inappropriate. I plan on renting it again for the right event. There was one small con: the arms. They were a little long. The sleeves came over my wrists however had I of worn the dress, I would have just pulled them up a little and no one would have been the wiser. I didn't have the right bra and didn't want to risk exposing everyone so if you are a bustier gal, be sure to purchase a good strapless bar and double sided tape.

Move on short gals. This dress is not for you.
Unfortunately, the dress did not work with for me. I bounce between a 6 and an 8 however the 6 was not available to rent. I probably could have gotten away with a 4 because of how large the dress fit on me. The skirt and the fabric is beautiful however as a 5'1 woman, the end of the dress hit the bottom of my shins. Also, because the dress was so loose, the zipper on the back of the dress kept getting caught on my "chignon" and I had to ultimately wear my hair down. In short (no pun intended), this dress is not for a short person. For you taller gals, I suggest going down a usual size.
