Wore this to a masquerade ball outdoors on a historical property. Sized up to the 8 due to better fit in the hips and ability to walk/dance, however then it was a little loose in the waist which in certain angles looks a bit off for photos. Loved that I could get away with 1/2-1" 'flats' which made the night that much better. If wearing heels, get the L. The dress was well made and stood up to a long night of dancing without any malfunctions or irritations. Though it's pretty, it didn't stand out in the crowd (if that's what you are going for!)

Pros: Pockets!! Beautiful color, forgiving in the hips. Received compliments all night. Both the 4 and 6 fit, but I sized up for ease of movement and wedding party dancing. My husband didn't want me to send it back. Would definitely order again. Cons: The 4 seemed much less worn than the 6. The 4 was fresh both in it's bright blue color and overall quality of the stitching (inside and out). The 6 had ripped stitches in the silk lining of the arms but it didn't impact the fit or my night.
