Great winter party dress.
Loved this dress. I eloped (yay) so wore this for our return home party. So the white on lower half felt like a nod to our wedding. I also wore my wedding day shrug over it. Top half is a thick knit, gives stretch but is slimming w/ the white skirt fitting at a flattering part, just above the waist. From the back, i felt it made me look wide, but husband and friend feedback disagreed. The folds/pleats were also flattering and a big camouflaging (which I appreciated). The white is thick, almost like vintage curtain fabric. Silver thread weaves through and gives it a little spark. I'll have to remember to get better photos of dresses for RTR.... this doesn't show much detail, but gives a little in context w/ other renters' photos. I am heavier now than the previous rentals I have rated. usually wear 6 (pushing 8 due to my hips and butt... back to the marathon training for the spring - ugh). 8 was perfect - very forgiving in the hips and ass-rej. overall - very cute dress for winter - loved it.

cute - but tulle is a bit much
The fit was extremely cute. This was a backup dress and i chose the other. I felt the tulle made the dress stand out too much (although i originally loved this - it just felt too costume-y with the extra tool... for those with longer legs, it will look beautiful). I also felt that the back was shorter than the front, making it entirely too short to sit. Loved the overlay and the shoulders.

I am obsessed with this dress. Never worn strapless that I didn't have to tug up - not even once.
Style: received tons of complements. It was perfect for a black and white masquerade ball event. Asymmetrical waistline gave an otherwise princess dress and edgy look. Fit: i am a little heavier than usual (damn winter)... usually 120ish... much heavier than that. I usually rent 4 or 6. I rented 6 and 8 (and 6 would never have zipped up...ever). I wore 8. This dress did my body a lot of favors. The top is VERY fitted, but it seems to be a bit fluted around the bust so doesn't seem too tight. No bra needed. It took a helper to zip me up (and a few extra minutes of tugging). But the stiff boning on the side kept anything from looking bulgy. With a fitted top and layers of tool, my hips actually helped with the flair. Length was perfect - i had significant heels. There is a liner that comes only about half way down my rear. It kept my butt from poofing out the tulle in the back. But barely fit over my hips. I saw other reviewers just kept it pulled up to their waist - i felt like it was built in spanx for me. I am barely a 34B (but this gave my bust something a little extra). I wish i owned this dress (so does my boyfriend). Wish i had taken a full length photo to pass on. Sorry... I love how RTR photos pass on to the next renter - thank you previous renters. I'll do better next time :)

I loved this dress in person, though it didn't seem to photograph well. In my full length photos from the front it seemed a bit frumpy (pro tip: turn your hips to the side for your photos!). I got tons of compliments. The dress is a nude color with colored sequins. The top is flowy and boho looking but the slim skirt gave it a more tailored look. I appreciated the high waist as it makes your legs look mile high. I wore the smaller size ordered (4). It was tight in the hips (lining has no give) but looked slimmer. The shoulder seemed to fall to the side - but gave it a carefree look. I wore with bangles, no necklace (the V highlights your collar bone - no necklace needed), nude heels. I really loved this dress.

Love this dress! This dress runs large - i am petite but curvy 5'4, 120 lbs, B-cup bust. I ordered XS and S - wore XS but could have used XXS (i usually wear size 4, XS and S). The fit was perfect as I am a little heavier in the hips and middle right now. The model is clearly tall - wished it was 3" shorter. Dress is truly peacock teal - photo appears blue/turquoise; it is a beautiful color. I really appreciated fashion tape... i needed it under my right arm pit as it fit lower on my side/boob than the model. Great experience w/ RTR and this great dress.... I received SOOO many compliments on it. I wore nude heels, big gold cuff, thin but large gold hoops -- i think the necklace detracts from the neckline. PS - no spanx needed for this dress! :)

cute fit, lots of complements!
LOVED this dress. I wore to formal event (cocktail dresses & gowns worn). The dress had sparkle and was great to dance in. I love how the sleeves fit - a cap sleeve (open on the under side) was flattering. The black ribbon on the waist is fitted high so it made my legs look longer. I am 5'4 and the length was perfect (short) length. Watch it when you sit...the hem creeps up on you! I am small but curvy in the rear. This dress was a great fit for me and wasn't too tight in the hips or butt. It has gorgeous satin lining which smoothed out any lines from spanx. I wore with black tights and heels. I went w/ a bit of the retro look and teased my hair for a nod to barbarella. and simple jewlery (gold drops on 2" delicate chain). no bracelet or rings to complete w/ the sparkle in the dress. Loved, loved this dress. I wish it lived in my closet!

I rented for a party event (fundraiser) that called for Boho Chic. Loved the dress - not sure if it was my mistake or something else, but I only received 1 size (wanted 4 and 6). I could have used 4. I am petite, yet curvy (typically wear 4 in jeans - i am a bit heavier than usual so this dress was perfect for my body image right now...while not being boring). Because of the tunic nature, it didn't look too big - belted w leather and ribbon belt and tied to the side. It's hidden in the photo, but wore heavy beaded bracelets on one arm. I received many compliments. The photos don't show that the top of sleeves are open with 4-6 strips of fabric down the arm - very cute. Shows a bit of skin (when i didn't feel my arms were summer ready yet!). I agree w/ another reviewer - wish it was in my closet for good as it could be casual or dressed up. Thanks RTR!
