Sizing is way off compared to other Simon Miller pants
I rented the blue striped set by Simon Miller this past summer with pants that are nearly identical to these and I had to size down to a medium which fit perfectly—these are so small they seem more like a Small.

The shoulders do slide off, even on wide shoulders and a larger chest. But it’s stunning. The fabric is amazing. Worn 32 weeks pregnant and it worked well with the belly

I wore it around town one afternoon in hopes that it would grow on me. It did not. The fabric is weird and parachute like--doesn't breathe at all, it didn't lay right and it pulled across my DDs even after sizing up to a 12.

My only con was that my 5'10" frame and long torso made the crotch ride up a bit after sizing down. Otherwise, so comfy, so cool, so perfect for a hot sweaty day!

Cute as a button
With buttons in the back and embroidery and gingham and ornamental ties and ruffles and flair and gosh there's a lot happening on this shirt. Yet somehow it works? I can't tell. I wore it with straight leg jeans which was definitely the safe way to proceed, and then tried it with these shorts (also from RTR) and maybe took it too far. Or just far enough? Anyway. Give it a try! You might love it.

This dress is super festive, perfect for a summer soiree! I sized down from my normal large to a medium based on other reviews and felt like it was pulling just a bit across the chest. If you are top heavy like me (big rib cage and big chest) maybe go with your regular size.

Love it but...
This was almost perfect --fit well (I sized up from my reg 10 and liked the bagginess), felt comfortable, and was easy to get on and off thanks to the zipper. BUT somehow two tiny holes formed in the crotch. There were now calisthenics or yoga stretches done while sporting this piece so I'm wondering if it came with a little extra wear that I hadn't noticed.
