Easy, special bling.
I like bracelets to be a little loose on my wrist so that they can move around (and jingle) with my movements. This bracelet was gorgeous, and I wore it the second it arrived (helped dress up my business-casual overall ensemble :) ) but it was a close-fitting bracelet (likely designed like that on purpose so that the decorative portion stays on top, but...) It was fun to have this trinket in my possession for a few days, but it's not something I would want to own. The intricate, delicate design made it look super luxe, and the neutral color palette allows this bracelet to "match" everything. Very, very fun for a special event.

Pretty idea, but so boring!
I wanted to love this dress (which RTR graciously let me upgrade to since my original dress choice was not available when I needed it). It's a bejeweled, elegant designer dress -- how could I go wrong?? Well. Through no fault of RTR, this dress was just so blah in person! The fit was fine, the material was fine, but while the idea of the pearl trim sounded good (and looked pretty in the shown pictures) in person the pearls looked cheap, and from the front the dress was just SO overly conservative and devoid of personality. This dress was kind of like if Forever 21 made a dress aimed at the 65+ crowd. I didn't end up wearing this dress because it was so un-me, but again-- I was happily surprised at RTRs great customer service, and in addition to letting me choose an upgraded dress, they also sent me 2 beautiful bracelets to go with it. (Ironically, the surprise bracelets were the only thing from this ensemble I DID wear!) I suppose the silver lining is that this was one dress I wasn't super sad about having to return. * I personally thought it was hard to discern colors from the pictures, and it should be noted that this dress is actually a distinct, pale pink, and NOT cream (like I thought it looked in the pics.)

Beautiful, but fragile
I loved the look of this clutch, it was like a piece of jewelry that could also hold my phone and lipstick. However, even though I loved to look at it, I was nervous the entire night about what would happen to it if I dropped it -- kept having horrible mental images of the shell-halves shattering into a million pieces. If you're a klutz (like me) I'd pick something more sturdy than this delicate beauty.

Perfect studs to wear with anything.
Loved these, wore them with 2 very different dresses, and would have felt equally comfortable pairing them with jeans and a tee. Beautiful and elegant.

This dress allowed me to do major PR for RTR.
All night long I was complimented on this dress, and all night I was running my mouth about how fabulous RTR is-- to the point where the next day DUDE's were asking me for more info for their significant others. This dress fit true to size, and the top was structured in a way so that I didn't need to wear a bra. (A nice perk considering the open back.) The top half of this dress is beyond beautiful, however I felt like the bottom half was missing something. (Like, it should have come with a beautiful belt or had a slit, or... something?) Obviously I wore this dress despite not being 110% in love with it, but I definitely liked it a lot, and felt confident, appropriate (rehearsal dinner), and pretty in it.

I am never BUYING a dress again!
For my best friend's fancy black-tie wedding, the only bridesmaid requirement was to wear a floor-length black dress. I knew that all of my fellow bmaids were going to go the slinky route, and I wanted something different-- long sleeves and no cleavage seemed like a good way to go. When the dress arrived I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was, and the draping around the hips gave it some spice as opposed to just being a plain column dress. I thought this was a "modest" dress, but it's body-con fit, and slit up-to-there made it sexy in a less-is-more kind of way. I was complimented all night long, and really-- after this weekend I have decided that I am never buying a dress again when I can have the luxury of "RTR"ing for every event. Was so happy with my pick, would love to wear it again... but know I'll prob pick a completely different dress next time. :) My only gripe was something that nobody else except me would probably even notice, but I'm tall and thin, and the Extra Long version of this dress was not made in my size. With heels on, I felt like the dress could have used an extra inch or two.

I felt like Kate Winslet with the Titanic "Hope" diamond necklace.
As soon as I opened the box I wanted to wear this necklace, and I did! Sitting throughout my hair and makeup treatments, I had on gym shorts, a button down, and this necklace. It was flashy enough to give my long black dress some personality, but tasteful enough to still be elegant. People of all ages and sexes were complimenting me all night long. Only down-side-- as I was dancing the main pendant fell off. I was able to reattach it, but it was a good reminder that the necklace is not as hardy as it seems.

Felt better dressed than the fancy socialites I was with.
My problem is that I consistently LOVE my RTR experiences, and never ever take adequate pictures?! This dress was the most beautiful, rich shade of teal (pictures don't do the color justice) and the jersey material made it extremely comfortable to wear. Strapless dresses always have a tendency to slip and slide a little, but this one has boning in the bustier that helps keep it in place, and it gave me enough support so that I didn't need to wear a bra. The strategically placed ruching was nice because it helped give me the allusion of curves, and made me feel comfortable enough to indulge in 2 steaks and a big dessert buffet. I absolutely loved this dress. The ONLY gripe is that I'm 5'10 and love wearing heels. The 0L was not long enough for me, and the 2L was questionable... (To be fair though-- I was wearing a 5" heel, and I don't know that many dresses are made to accommodate 6'4" women.) Overall, this was a great dress that made me feel extremely confident at the well-heeled black-tie fundraiser I attended.

Very different, and fun-- but, heavy.
I am such a knuckle-head sometimes. Saw these earrings, loved them, got them to go with my party dress, and then--- totally forgot to actually put them on before I left. Really, really like the look of these, but in my excitement over them, I out them on and wore them around a little bit as soon as my package arrived, and even wearing them for just a short while, my weak ears were hurting a little from the weight. Despite any discomfort that may have occurred, I'm still bummed I didn't actually wear these beauties.

Running late, only had 5 minutes to get ready-- no problem with a dress this amazingly easy!!
I'm 5'10, wore the XS, and the length was perfect-- short, but not uncomfortably so. The material was stretchy/thick enough so that a bra wasn't necessary, and even after gorging at a big dinner-- my stomach area felt under control. (The strategically placed ruffle also helped camouflage any issues with this area.) This dress was extremely comfortable and easy, and I felt chic and special. Only concern-- and it was a mild one at that-- because I don't have a huge chest, there wasn't a lot of tension keeping the sleeveless half in place, and there were a couple occasions when vigorously dancing that a "wardrobe malfunction" could have occurred. I LOVED this dress and want to buy it not, but for any future wearings I would definitely have some fashion-tape on hand.

The unexpected sequin detailing on the back made both sides equally fun to look at. :)
I'm tall, and long-waisted. This romper was adorable, but only marginally long enough through my torso. I think it looked cute to the general public, but... there were definitely a lot of secret camel-toe-fixing moments. (I had also gotten the size 4 as a back-up, but the bigger size was too voluminous through the body.) Loved that it had pockets, loved that I could wear a regular bra, loved that I was wearing something "short" without having to worry about the same things I would as when wearing a skirt/dress.

Not good for tall girls
This romper looks so cute on the featured model, but it was horrendous on me. I got both the S and the XS, and both sizes made my hips look big due to the excess material gathered at the waist, and neither did a thing to flatter my body at all. The only thing I can think is that I'm too tall for this piece? (Didn't have camel-toe, but it was close.) It's a super cute, easy-to-wear piece... if it looks good on you.
