This dress was really flattering and comfortable. I could have worn either the medium or large, as the material has a lot of give, but I chose the medium since it ended up being a tad shorter. This also made it tighter and added to the curve hugging effect. One thing to note is that if you wear stilettos and are petite, you do have to be cautious of the heels catching on the dress when you walk.

This dress was perfect for the day party I attended. The color was stunning, and the dress photographs really well. Other reviews are accurate about the waist area having no give and the chest area allowing significant exposure and also needing to be filled out. Luckily the dress has space for inserts, so I placed my push-up Nu Bra cups inside to help fill out the top. I also had to carefully and discretely sew the straps a lot shorter to keep them from falling; this also helped with reducing the amount of cleavage visible. I think for someone with a longer torso and larger chest, no alternations would be needed, but petite girls be ready to adjust to make it work.

This piece was so elegant. I received more compliments on the necklace than I did the dress I wore (which in my mind was equally beautiful.) I wore it with my own pearl earrings to allow the necklace to keep the spotlight. I will definitely rent this necklace again and perhaps even seek purchasing one to keep.

This dress was beautiful and I received so many compliments! Pros: tight fit perfect for hourglass shape, lovely flair at the knees, beautiful design, enough cleavage to be sexy but still classy. Cons: the petite was too short for me with 3.5" heels, even though I'm shorter, I should have gone with the regular size; the top is presumably meant for a flatter chest. I went braless because of the design in the front, but if I rented again, I would go with push up pasties to get a fuller look. Since I didn't wear support, the dress flattened me a bit. This didn't stop the look from being a beautiful success though. I'm 5'1, 160lbs, usually size 10/12.

This dress was stunning (especially from the front), but difficult to fit properly without alterations for the low back. Pros: classic black, photographed well, comfortable, unique design, perfect slit. Cons: the long, thick zipper strip down the back didn't lay correctly likely because I'm well endowed and curvy in the back and my torso is a little shorter. I attempted to use magic tape (which might work perfectly for someone a little flatter on the backside), but it wasn't successful in achieving the look I wanted. It was a beautiful dress and I received some compliments, but I think it's more suited for the taller, less curvy woman. I'm 5'1, 160 lbs, usually size 10/12.

These earrings are really pretty. They are maybe about 1.75" inches in length though and very thin, so not enough to be statement pieces unless you do a high, very simple up do to highlight them. They were a great piece to finish off my look nonetheless.

I LOVED this dress. I wore it to a formal family function. Pros: well made, thick material, classy and sexy, comfortable (stayed in place!)
