My first choice dress for the main Emmys award ceremony was the ML Monique Lhuillier Odyssey Gown. I enjoyed how dramatic that dress was, but this lacy very traditionally feminine back-up dress was too yummy not to wear at least for the after-party. The top was way too loose for my bust and needed a lot of padding, I needed a corset to smooth my stomach, and the zipper was sticky, but it is a solid, very pretty dress.

These were gorgeous! I wanted something fierce to go with the structural lines of the ML Monique Lhullier Odyssey Gown and they did the trick. They were heavy, just as I expected, and got stuck in my up-do, which was fine. But little pieces fell off, first in transit before I got them and then more after I wore them, which was lame.

I loved standing out from the crowd in this structural glittering dress, and especially enjoyed how it flowed behind me like a ball gown when I walked, with all the sexy leg of a mini-skirt! Incredible! The bust was small on me and needed plenty of padding & support, but no smoothing shape-wear was necessary. It was a heavy and hot fabric, but I expected that. Go for this gown if you want to make a dramatic impression!
