With a slight chill still in the air, this dress was perfect for my City date night/birthday celebration with my husband and a few of our closest friends. The sleeves made it feel a little more appropriate for a cooler evening in May, but the shorter length kept it fun. Not only did my husband tell me my legs rocked the dress, my FRIENDS did as well! It was a great night and I felt gorgeous.

The fit was perfect, although I would've like it to be a bit longer. I'm 5'10" and this dress skimmed the top of my feet in perfectly flat sandals. But it still worked - wore it to a sunset wine + dinner event hosted by hubby's clients. Didn't need a bra - the cut of this dress covers and supports perfectly! Would definitely consider renting again!

This dress is adorable, and I'll admit I had a lot of fun twirling around my bedroom in it. However, I didn't wear it to my event because I thought it just looked too provocative for my evenet. The top was tight and low cut on my chest, and the skirt came up so high in front that I was afraid a stiff breeze (it was an outdoor party) would show off way more leg than I wanted to! The lack of a zipper or any kind of fabric give makes it hard to get in to this dress, so if you wear a borderline size, order up!

The web colors on this dress really don't do the colors justice - the blue is incredibly rich, almost marine. The fabric of this dress is really flattering - it's a thicker fabric that, unlike a jersey knit, won't hug lingerie lines or post-baby pooches. I loved the just-above-my-knee length, and the body-skimming sheath cut. Since it doesn't cling, I think it would be really flattering to most body types, but I could see being tall as an added bonus - probably why I didn't have problems with the strap length.

This dress totally exceeded my expectations. The purple color is a lot brighter (more festive!) in person. I definitely recommend taking the time to talk to one of the fit-specialists - I'm 5'10" and usually wear an 8 but I wasn't confident about a strapless/designer dress. The specialist seemed positive the 8 would work, but suggested I order up a size for backup. She was right - I ended up wearing the 8. It was definitely "snug" at the chest, but the 10 was too big around the waist.
